How about our injury toll this season!!!
I don’t know how this compares to other clubs & how much of this is bad luck than bad management but here is a list of players we’ve lost for extended periods …
Doueihi, Lobb, Mason, Tupou, Olam, Latu Fainu, Luke Laulilii, Solo Saukuru, To’a, Twal, Faagutu, Papali’I, Sione Fainu, & Sukkar. Add this to missing Sezer for a large chunk through suspension.
For me missing Tupou, iPap, Olam & Sezer have had the greatest impact on our performances, whilst Latu, Mason & Sukkar have had such a disrupted development year.
Throw in the departures of experienced players Simpkin, AJ & Bateman through this season and the effect of the pending departures of Tupou, iPap & Stef have had on the playing group (and those tapped on the shoulder).
This season has been another out of the box! It's certainly a combo of players, coaching & management.
