CONFIRMED

Coming - Jason Cayless (Yee Haw!)

i confirmed this last week and several times this week, people just doubted my info

Hi mate do you have any info on Lima?

lima is a less then 20% chance to come here, the reason theres no word on lima is because of the delay with lote's decision and the finer points of his contract, lote is an all but done deal but the announcement could be made as early as friday but most likely with in the next 2 weeks on whether he is coming here next year, if lote for some reason changes his mind and doesnt sign (highly unlikely) lima is a big chance to come here next year

We signed Fitzhenry for Wests Tigers? Incredible. Just incredible.

I defend Sheens more than most and really dislike what I perceive to be a pretty negative and boorish attitude by some. However, if this is true, Sheens should be ashamed of himself.

This boorish pig headedness is exactly why Sheens will never be regarded as a great coach.
He's still justifying selections made years ago with Fitzhenry,& poor ones at that.Maybe John Morris is ripe for a return in 2012…?

Fitzhenry caused my stress levels to hit unprecedented heights that have never been reached again. We have nothing to gain from this signing except pain and heartache.

Cheers for info mate. Will be interesting to see if he plays in Japan before heading to the tigers.

Mmm thats bad new i.e Lima was really wanting him to come but very unlikely now :frowning:…. Anderson whats the go with Tuqiri, will he be allowed to play Union and switch codes to start the season at the Tigers?

I've had a really good think about this decision ,TmmyB, don't be worried mate, it just Sheen's loyalty coming out again for one of his favourites, giving him a lifeline so he can play in Sydney , where he wanted to be.

He wouldn't be on much I reckon, and has the experience to be a good influence a alot of young backs in the training squad. He will be a much better backup than Moodie was, which is not saying much :frowning:

Fair call!

The bloke was renowned as a great trainer - as being ultra-fit & being a great club man. Those who begrudge him a year at the Magpies clearly missed their meek showing against Wenty at Leichhardt. He will be an asset at Lidcombe!

fitzhenry is a tragic signing, i suppose the experience will help some of the younger guys but i would be very surprised if he gets a run straight away in first grade.

What makes you think he will come to Lidcombe…..I don't know how many times the commentators mentioned that Balmain's demise in the Grand Final was due to lack of NRL experience.

Fitzhenry would certainly fix that.....plus Sheens can have him play 1, 6 or 9 get him ready just in case.

I get the feeling if the club does end up signing Lima 😛ray: , that poor Skando will be left out in the cold :frowning:
I speaking to him at the Luncheon, and he said then that his future next year is not set

What is it with the Daniel Fitzhenry critics?

He was very good 1st grade "WINGER" and he found his way across the stripe in the Grand Final win.

Yes he was a poor 5/8 but when he was on the wing he was VGood.

Like other comments he may be a good back-up hooker but he will add to the Tigers depth (IMO).
