Confirmed Positional Changes For Friday

You would think the wests tigers would have better things to do then read other forums. I notice our stories on hospital visits have dried up since we've been winning games. Coincidence?

As long as Benji NEVER kicks a ball i don't care where he plays until we get our 7 back. If we haven't fixed our last tackle plays (our kicking) we can forget about semis, to me this is our biggest concern atm.

Haha nice jab from the media manager there…

Cuzzo probably does frequent the site under a pseudonym... I'll put a lobster on him masquerading as Ron ...

Nice little shot from Cuzzo once again.

Cuzzo needs to learn that fiction is far more entertaining than fact.

Another thing that baffles me is Sheens' uncertainty. We played Friday night, and 4 days later he names Fitzhenry at 7, then 2 days later changes it. Wernt those first 4 days long enough to decide whats best for the team? And its not like he was putting up a smokescreen because he's announced the changes well before the game. Thats what really worries me, its like he has no idea what he should do regarding team selection.

My take on that Sirro is that the days until yesterday were primarily based in recovery and when they had a run he wasn't getting what he wanted out of the side and rearranged things to where they worked better.

I am not there so cannot makes these claims with any conviction but it seems most likely

I can't believe he's got Marshall back at 7 and Daniella back in the centres again!! It was only last friday this pairing was caught out defensively by little Darius who ran straight through the WT left hand defence with ease.
The Broncos 3/4 attack is much larger, faster and stronger than the Dragons'. Add a wide running Te'o to that combination and i think the walls of the Hoover Dam may crack!!

Hope not!! 😛ray:

I would like to see Lawrence at 6, but I really though the last structure was the best for the team since it kept Benji at 7\. I just hope Benji gets the chance to play second receiver more often than not, because he isn't the same player at 1st.

I like it.I think its better than having fitzhenry there.
Marshall,Farah & Fitzhenry will share the first receiver role & Lawernce getting the ball with a bit more room to move could be very devastating.
Its up to the forwards in this game.If they give us the room i think we should win quite comfortably

Thats a good point Watto, why move Lawrence from the centres when he just had his best game there

Lets see how they run out…...

I think Sheens knows exactly what he's doing....but like you I dont agree with it......

Guess Fitzy is a winger......

Daniella defended right side next to Ayshford against the Dragons for the majority of the game.

I just don't understand why he would have Lawrence at five eighth. He doesn't really have experience playing there before. This won't be good for our attack. I can't see us scoring that many points. Fulton played five eighth in the UK Super League didn't he? How did he go in that position over there? I thought Fulton would be better at five eighth than Lawrence. And what the hell is Fitzhenry still doing in the side???

Settle down…..they havent even kicked off yet...... :unamused:

Oh yeah, now i recall. Daniella single handedly let in the try down the right side and constantly got caught arm grabbing, and Ayshford moved up out of the line on the left which left Marshall exposed for another try. So either way, the 3/4 line is up for a big night defensively on both sides.
WT need to boost their size in the 3/4s if they are going to hide Benji AND Daniella now. With Fitzy on the wing, he isn't all that massive and neither is McKinnon. Ayshford is still young and inexperienced.
Lawrence is the best 3/4 defender. Lote can only do so much out on the wing.
If Broncos can get 2nd phase and offloads away, Tigers could have their toughest assignment yet.

That's why i suggested a backline like this earlier in the week:
1\. Tuqiri
2\. Tupou
3\. Ellis
4\. Davis
5\. Lawrence

But looks like Sheens has no concern with the small outside backs. I'm sure if Ryan was available he'd be in there also.

Aysh & Daniella defended together. Marshall and Lawrence defended together. The one on one misses from Benji were terrible.

I do agree however that it is a big task for our 3/4 line on Friday night. Brown would be my centre choice over Daniella and wing choice over Fitzy. His form last week was great

A Sheens classic, one injury and the whole team gets shuffled to suit… Next week if all goes to plan we might see 7.Marshall 6.Lote we know Sheens wants too..

Thought it was a bit 2 brilliant for crouching….

They pretty much defended where the have been the previous 4 wins....but lets change it all now after 1 loss....who cares how long it takes to build combinations...

Benji doesn't need hiding.......just switch on....

i was so glad to see marshall back at five eigth and now hes back in the half, oh well i totally agree that farah, marshall and lawrence are going to be shifting about in roles but its not ideal. Hopefully lui is right for next week. It sad though that awesome try that marshall shifted across field and lawrence then blasted through the line to put tuqiri in space to score against the dragons was one of my favourites and i doubt we will see that happening.

I like the centre and winger combinations we had beau and ayshford and lawrence and tuqiri, it takes time for them to develop soundly and now s*** has hit the fan.

but good luck fellas!!!
