Congrats & Thank you Benji

Dont mind saying I hate the idea of playing Benji's 300th at Bank West as a home game - but whole family still going - wouldnt miss it

I will not get emotional.. I will not get emotional... Who am I kidding... I'll get emotional before the game.

How can you not. An absolute legend of our game playing his 300th for the club he loves. The path he has taken to get here, well you couldn’t write a story like that. It’s life and all it’s twists and turns, tragedies and triumphs. Go Benji you champion.

I won’t be there but will be watching it on my phone at a wedding. It’s a great stadium for day games and I hope the Tigers get rid of the ‘It’s our Jungle’ and put Benjis 300 all over the screens. Greatest ever Wests Tiger followed by Robbie. Also hope someone puts one in Moses Chin would top off a great day.

Like many, Benji played a huge part in my interest in Rugby League.

I absolutely loved watching him every week, and I tried everything he does on the field. Too many highlights, but one of my favourites has to be when he tore up the Sharks with this try assist in 2005:

He had done so many great things early in his career and it was all fantastic to watch, but then to watch the evolution of the player and the man has been a privilege. Benji changed the game, without a doubt. When he got older, he eventually adapted well - to the point where he is now comfortable in just being the general without going for the big play every play. And he still has those big plays in him.

Week-to-week we may blow up at him, and sure it can be frustrating - but you can't deny the talent and the impact he has had on this club. His work in helping the youngsters coming through is massive for us, that experience he has is so valuable to them.

Seeing him back at the international level and what it meant to him to represent our country again was another huge highlight and I am so happy he had the chance to do that again.

Thank you for so much Benji, you're a bloody legend.

“As good as you will see on a Sunday afternoon anywhere” pretty much sums it up.

@tony-soprano Benji was talking about him earlier in the week on nrl360

Thank you Benji to all the joy you brought to my family, I never thought I would get to see us win the comp and you played a huge part in us achieving that!

Congrats Benji.
Not only a great player but a genuinely great person with a big heart and a true Tiger.
Hope the boys can make it a memorable one.

@WT2K

Didn’t say too much on him by memory.

Given they got Bennett on the video I thought they’d mentioned sheens must not have a relationship now

I don't think that is the case. It was probably that Sheens wasn't in Australia. I heard Benji speaking earlier and he rated Sheens as his biggest influence.
