Congratulations Blake Thoroughly deserved , you have been a shining light this year .How much better you would of been if you were settled in just one position instead of mix and matching you every week .
It would be a disgrace to see you go to another Club . i know what i'm wishing for Xmas

Spirit and a willingness to have a go is what the club desperately needs and Blake certainly has it. Stick with the Tigers.

It keeps cutting out once I get there to look at it

So he got members player of the year , has he said he was staying as well ??

Congrats on the award Blake , we love ya bro , you gotta stay

Taylor should throw all the numbers one to thirteen into a hat, pull out a number and than say to Austen thats your no for the season and by the way your also captain!!!!!

Hope he knows about the forum's very own Bulletproof Tiger award he also won.

He is the poster boy of what we need here at the Tigers. The rest of you stand up and observe.

Future captain.

Well deserved
He needs to be signed with 2 more years added , this kid has got the goods and with a stable spot in the team who knows what he could do

**2014 Season Awards: Members Player of the Year**

**Wests Tigers would like to congratulate Blake Austin on being named the 2014 Members Player of the Year at today’s Grand Final Luncheon.**

Following on from thousands of votes, Austin finished on top of the Members’ tally after a stellar first year with the Club.

Austin joined the Wests Tigers from the Penrith Panthers at the beginning of the year and made his debut for the Club in Round 6 against North Queensland.

The 23-year-old played every match from that point, often filling various roles within the team including five-eighth, hooker, fullback and centre.

Austin finished the season with seven tries, just two behind the Club’s leader try-scorer Pat Richards on nine. The Doonside junior also finished the 2014 season on a positive note, with six line-breaks in the final five matches of the season.
