I understand what you are saying but we lost great effort boys but it's still a loss and that there is the problem

We didn't roll over on the field today, and while you and myself would have loved for him to absolutely go off in the press conference it wasn't the smart play.

Anneselly is never going to overturn the result, he's gonna apologize and suspend someone/s for a week hoping this day is forgotten. Both Gardiner and Tamou stated clearly it was the wrong decision and why, if they had given the refereeing a serve the Nrl would have flipped the situation into it being yet another lower team blaming and abusing the refs.

This is gonna galvanize the team.

Disagree we needed to make a point. Roosters have done it plenty. Show some backbone for once. Up by 12 we rolled over on the field too. Cowboys played crap.

i want to see effort and if we play like this and lose so be it just dont lose and not put everything u had out there
our 1-6-7-9 needs to become leaders and game breakers and our forward pack needs to do there job and go forward
i saw all this today
so i'm very happy

i disagree - originally i thought we should just pay the fine and give the NRL a spray. But maybe playing the good guy hard done by is the better option. The amount of abuse and condemnation of the NRL, the referee and the bunker on social media and main media over this result has astounded me. And most of it is coming from supporters of other clubs. The NRL really need to take notice of the abuse they are copping.

Nothing will come of it. Sportsbet also refunded bets on Tigers. We have gambling companies admitting it was a rort and we just play the nice guy.

Maybe the players don't care to only put effort in a few times a year you could be right but a broken clock puts no effort in and is still correct twice a day

Supporters from most clubs are giving it to the NRL delux.
I think we may stand up tomorrow.

G'day old_man_tiger : I'm so glad you included Ben Gardiner in Your post.

I dont think I have seen a more positive and impressive post match presser from a coach who's players have just lost a match.

I feel Ben should have been handed the head coaching job after Madge was terminated and imo
he was robbed for no other apparent reason than he was Madge's assistant.

It was Very plain to see how much respect Tamou has for BG as compared to his body language displayed when Noddy is interviewed post match. Imo he has looked embarrassed by Noddy's words.

As much as I feel the desperate knee jerk reaction from Sheens of appointing Benji and Farah as coaches is probably going to create a bit of excitement for Our young Pathways blokes, they've never even coached a tiddlywinks match, so how do we know they are going to be a success 3 or 4 or 5 years down the track.

BG is a ready made and obviously respected coach who has already got positive results from coaching Our younger blokes.

I feel if we lose BG....we will have lost a coach who I feel will go on to reach a high level of achievement similar to that of a champion we lost a few years back....James Tedesco.
