Consistency

We'll put on some decent performances the next 4 - 6 weeks. Some wins, some losses. But guaranteed a dead set piss weak performance against a garbage side won't be far off after that.

Just set my clock to it

7 game winning streak!

I’m all onboard team #7straight.

Paying thousands

I’ll put $100 on it. I’m a gambling man and have already lost enough on the Tigers over the years that I could have retired 5 years earlier.

Please don't. The Tigers will not win 7 in a row. They will hopefully win in the next 7 games, though. Is that option offering good odds?

I think you're spot on. It's funny following such a predictable team, hey? Like last night I knew we'd lose, it was just how it was going to go. If it wasn't the two point field goal, they would have won it in some other dramatic fashion.

I thought this was a thread calling for consistency from the NRL: Bulldogs bloke gets sent from the field, Roosters bloke only gets 10 in the bin, Latrell gets SFA.....a penalty against. 3 headshots, 3 different outcomes. What a laughable league these hopeless inept tossers are running.

The NRL have made it quite simple then. If you coat hanger someone, you go to the bin. If you coward punch someone, its a meaningless penalty. They talk about consistency, fairness yadda yadda yadda. Its anything but. The protected will be protected for the greater good of the game, so long as it looks nice and shiny on the surface.

I reckon they'll turn up against manly. Don't know why but I think they won't be happy about not getting the win and Tamous message seems to have resonated with the group.

I'll be bitterly disappointed if they come out flat again.

If they come out flat on ANZAC Day I will be disgusted. Of all of the days of the year to show some grit. It's a privelidge to play sport on Australia's most meaningful day of the year. No excuses this week.

We won’t get consistency until the squad is up to the right standard across the park. Good teams expose your flaws. Unfortunately with 1.5m tied up with Mbye and Packer it won’t happen until at least next year.

Not the result we needed but we ran hard and tackled hard for over 80 mins on Saturday but it was just one game, who’s betting we come out flat against Manly?? Hope I am wrong but to pinch a Madge line, ‘that’s what Wests Tigers are’

I agree
Although we had a massive dig against south’s I don’t think this group has it in them to keep it up on a weekly basis

A few of the Rabbitohs fans are saying they broke the Tigers spirit in that game. This is Madge’s big test imo. The win would have been a just reward for effort. They outplayed the bunnies , particularly in the forwards. From my perspective, they had a win over mediocrity and became a team for the first time in such a long time. They need to hang onto that. It’s much more valuable than the results of ref’s poor decisions.

I understand some criticisms and disapproval but no offence we've never been able to grow from adversity for a number of reasons which include poor (team) quality, culture or leadership. Not to mention we've had teams full of players severely lacking drive, ambition and competitiveness. The players with the right attitude and ability to turn things around for the club.

A poor performance this coming week will end our season (if it happens). Then Rabbits can claim to have dampened us, but if it goes that way, they didn't beat us, they didn't end our season, we will have done it to ourselves.
