As above ,
Does anyone think fox we’re told to push the jersey fiasco to divert away from the potential hornets nest of match fixing , bunker ineptitude and general incompetence form the nrl ? The blowtorch was firmly on them yesterday … and today crickets .

It was clearly a big story - not everything is a conspiracy
Yea … but timing is everything .
Like recently a whole bunch of Latino kids were murdered in Texas …. So the gun debate was going crazy . Then all of a sudden the mainstream media was being hammered with articles about outraged people because kids were about to be banned from drag shows .. and it became “shooting , what shooting”
The nrls integrity is in question to the point of law suits …. Then all of a sudden 7 islander boys at manly are homophobes ….

Honestly seems to be a common practice.

Whatever gets the eyes off the real issues.

Lucky for them though, not everyone as foolish as they'd wish to believe.

Disgraceful.

like all conspiracy’s it needs a lot of planning, perfect execution and no leaks from any of the conspirators. Any of that sound like anything the NRL could produce?

I think it’s more likely business as usual and the organization is going from one stuff up to the next.

Whatever gets the clicks and views... that's where the media will be.
360 are still going on about the results tonight, so it's still being discussed

Ha ha... In short, no.

However it is a very common practice that has been used for decades. I once read that more bills were passed in the US senate on super bowl week/weekend (? Paraphrasing here) than any other time of year by an insane amount.

So the theory is no conspiracy (which by the way, we have all been brainwashed to immediately annex the word "conspiracy" with the word "theory"...) but I don't think the two are connected.

As for the audio, I actually thought about this on my way to the station after work:
Have the tigers received the audio yet? And if not, why not? Why would it take any more than a day?

If they won't give it over why not? They said there's nothing to apologise for, so what's the hold up?

Now a conspiracy THEORY could be they are busily dubbing over the original! It's the fake moon landing part 2!

...and lizard people!

no need to be obnoxious and condescending . and thanks for stating the obvious about media manipulation. That was my whole point , I used the word conspiracy because it got to the heart of the issue , if not entirely accurate .
I wouldn’t put anything past any organisation with as much power as the nrl have found themselves in the last few years , and it’s moving ever closer to resembling the NFL .
The brand is all that matters. Not to you or I , but to the big end of town . Which if you know anything about the capability of that organisation , you would understand my scepticism.

But be a patronising dickhead . Because you know spin doctors and image Consultants aren’t literally employed for these very reasons . And im not even saying I believe it anyway. Just an idea floating around .

Hey Strongee,
I really didn't mean for it to come across that way and sincerely apologise that it did.

I try to have a bit of a laugh on here and yes I can be a prick when I want to be - I just didn't realise I could be when I wasn't even trying!

I disagreed that the jerseys was connected to the tigers and there's nothing unfair about that.

As for "patronising dickhead", well I strongly disagree, but I'm surprised you know what patronising means! 😉

Because the jersey fiasco is not a hornets nest?
