Will hopefully get to a Balmain Ryde game soon and watch Lazarus in person again. Unless he has improved immensely since the last time I saw him play (I am sure he has improved) Lui is the far greater talent and could become a superstar of the NRL.

I think we will be very happy that we signed Lui to the end of 2012.

I could not disgaree more…....Lazo is a dead set star in the making.

Im worried they have signed the wrong guy.

But......considering we have looked after him when he has been injured I reckon he would be pretty loyal/
 
Loyalty only goes so far. If he were to be offered a second tier contract again by the Tigers and offered a top 25 with a real shot at NRL elsewhere than I couldn't blame him for taking the opportunity.

As for the Lui/Lazarus comparrisson I have never seen them in the context of similar games/opponenets so I really cannot make the call
 
Bah…..I reckon its obvious.

When I saw Blake grubber through the line and then regather and chip to the unmarked winger in the corner against the Jets I knew I had seen the real deal.
 
Have been a massive fan of Lazarus since back in 2007's Reserve Grade campaign.

However I don't want to dismiss Lui as I have never seen him in State Cup

are either as big as Rob Lui who is Ok defisivly as far as i have seen in his 6 or so FB games ?????
 
Ive only seen lazarus a few times n only twice recently (first and third round this year) and i think that a few people on hear are getting a little over excited by the way he is playing. I know that in the game against Norths he was largely outplayed by Taumata and even though he had a real good game against Newtown I dont think he is as good as Lui. He is way too small to really make an impact when running the ball and has lost the pace he had before his 2 operations. At the moment i put him at the bottome of the Lui, Mullaney, lazarus list with Moltzen a fair way ahead of all 3

considerin i keep hearin how long it takes 2 come back from 1 knee recon , when blakes had 2 , i think he is showin amazin talent to preform as he does each week , 3 games back n he is doin the things he is doin , what is he gunna b like when he really hits his straps so YES i am gettin a bit excited because i thnk he will be better then any of them n would b now except 4 the setbacks he has had , just sit back n watch this story unfold , u seen nothin yet :righton:

I'd say Mullaney is even shorter than Lui, and yeah, close to 20 kilos lighter.

Just wait a couple of weeks when the four nations is over...

I would expect some signing news around then......

Lawrence will be an interesting one now that he has cracked his first higher rep honours.....If he plays a couple of tests may increase his asking price...

Wonder what the going rate is for a Kangaroo...

An incentive for making the team would already be factored into Rowdy's extant contract - but his selection could also serve as a trigger for a negotiated contract upgrade and extension!

At least he will now get to play at Henson Park on a regular basis … if he does go to the Roosters he has no chance of 1st grade!

Manly wanted him mid-season - & with Farrar gone to the UK I am surprised he would go East rather than North!

I believe it was written here last week that Tame Tupou was retiring and will not be with us in 2011.
