I think the fact you can't kick makes it MUCH easier for the defence to read. Maybe if they allowed kicking it would be interesting.

True but I fear that could result in teams just going *tap, bomb* every single time, they would have to rename it the "Rooster-Play" instead of powerplay…

they should also have 3 coaches calls where the coach can question the refs decision just like in the NFL. I'm for more football screen time just like the NFL. This way you can have a barbie, few beers, quality family time or for others friends and relatives whatever the case may be.

It was a great idea for the All Stars match thats how the game shouldve been played… Make it like the NBA All Star game where both teams try different things n put on a show for the crowd but at the same time both sides try everything to win. It would appeal to a massive audience. The All Star game was taken way to seriously... N i think they should bring it into the NRL because realistically coaches would only use it if down by 8 and they score a try at the death...

And for the no kicking rule they should either limit the number of players on the field n say tehy rnt allowed to kick or just make it the person catching the ball from teh kick isnt allowed to score

Limiting players would be good…..9 is a good number
