I dont think Luke is an NRL player? He should be fined by the poilice aswell but has no relevence to league.

His brother Ben was tagged in the photo..

Why mention Luke first? Bit weird.

Its a good point though, any NRL player doing this is a moron and needs to be fined or suspended.

Just saw it on Facebook...Luke was the one who posted the photo apparently..gone off the feed now if I see it again ..I'll post it

There own community should be coming down on them hard ... the virus is much more serious in indigenous populations ! they are the ones that really should be protecting there families with social distancing .
But they think there special and do not have to conform in what the rest of the population has to . Let’s face it they have already pissed on our flag!!

If you were a NRL player right now, what would you say to these morons if you had the chance?

They're literally putting every NRL players career in jeopardy.
How can the NRL be taken seriously about sticking to the guidelines in order to get the game started again after seeing these two clowns?

I agree with Gould, sack them

Perhaps they don't feel the rules should apply to them...and the mental health of they bros and culture were more important

Maybe they didnt get the memo from the overlords?

Nathan Cleary caught with group of women at home on Anzac Day amid virus lockdown
By Tim Elbra

Panthers star Nathan Cleary has been caught with a group of women at his house on Anzac Day, in another case of an NRL star flouting social distancing laws.

Nine rugby league reporter Danny Weidler obtained several social media photos of Cleary at his home, where he was briefly visited by the women.

The incident comes after fellow representative stars Latrell Mitchell and Josh Addo-Carr were caught on a camping trip over the weekend. They were fined by police for breaking social distancing laws during the coronavirus COVID-19 crackdown.

"I've had a brief phone conversation today with Nathan Cleary and he's explained to me that they are some of his friends," Weidler said.

"They popped into his place on Anzac Day on their way to getting an Uber. Obviously he realised pretty quickly that this was not a situation that he should be in and after a short stay, they left.

"He is very, very apologetic about what has happened. He knows he has done the wrong thing and he takes full responsibility for all of that.

"Nathan Cleary has apologised already to his teammates and the entire Penrith club. Another big story developing in the NRL."

The NRL is attempting to relaunch its season on May 28 and has now been undermined by two incidents that damage its credibility when it comes to observation of isolation rules.

These indigenous players are always harping on about respect, yet they show none of it when the TV cameras aren't on them.

They're either incredible dumb or they just don't care, I'm leaning towards the latter, and if that's the case they need to go.

A responsible player would have told someone beforehand what was going on ......if what we are hearing is true , family comes 1st .....I know if family member told me they needed help even at these times I'd drop everything ...but I would tell everyone 1st what I was doing

If you take these actions ...you wear the responsibility of these actions

You don't then hide behind your religion ,race , marital status or sex

If Addo-Carr didn't post on social media..no one would even know..

I saw another post used as example with the youngest Trbojevic brother Luke with 4 blokes sitting around a fire in Mudgee in the backyard ..not a peep..

Luke .....NRL player .....SOO Player .....Australian player ???

Were they riding motorbikes without helmet , unregistered vehicles on beaches ....firing shotties without licences

Did Luke put the game and it's negotiating power at risk ???

Fine Luke and his mates $1300 each ....worse than the $1000 fine that JAC and Latrell has

Calm down...just an example..maybe the NRL players need an app or something..

Or they could be responsible young adults ...or unemployed irresponsible young idiots

How many chances does JaC get?
Firearms
Unreg drive
Social. Dist x3

He's special... Thay can do whatever they want

Connecting to culture... Another BS excuse for screwing up

That's certainly how it came across. The apology by Mitchell was followed by an excuse and explanation, which of course negates the apology. It comes across really phoney when people make apologies and don't really mean it.

How do I know he didn't mean it? By his words, he said yeah sorry I did it, but my mate's cousin needed it and I couldn't say no. He justified it, letting us know that he thinks it was acceptable. I don't understand how he doesn't see that his own words dug him in his hole even deeper, then again, one of the folks there with him even posted pics of them all on social media, which again I find incredible.

My son works at a fast food restaurant, and a few months ago one of his colleagues stole a whole carton of drinks. Not allegedly, he definitely did it, he even posted a pic of the drinks and posted it on Instagram, saying these are the drinks I stole from work tonight... A customer at at another franchise showed the manager there this photo, who got on the phone to the store the pic poster works at and told them. I believe the police ended up getting involved, and the person no longer works at the store. But honestly, how stupid is that. I know we all make mistakes, but my goodness...

2ndly if it was me I wouldn't be apologizing if it was true ......family comes before everything when push comes to shove

But that comes back to the same point ...if you were in that situation you'd tell someone at the club what was going on ....no matter the consequences

Honesty goes a long way in the end ...being honest after the fact isn't honesty
