How about the misleading headline of ‘richest deal in sports’. It’s actually worth less per season compared to the current deal which still has two years left on it. Exactly what the broadcasters wanted - not a win for the NRL. They should stay to their current deal and if Nine don’t like it they can be given the boot.

Cheers. Even before the virus, sports were looking at reduced broadcast money. Rugby and A league are under the squeeze. A longer deal may be the the smart move.

As long as we have kept the NRL digital arm, that is key to this deal in my opinion.

I've been promoting the restart on a couple of NFL forums I am on.

The NRL have the perfect opportunity to promote the game overseas. They should be heavily advertising their Watch NRL digital platform and giving a 30 day free trial. They would be likely to pick up a lot of new viewers who may end up following the game and putting more $$$ in to the digital arm of the NRL.

A Flu shot will not guarantee you don't get the Flu..

No it won't and it only covers a limited number of strains, usually the ones predicted to have the most impact each season.

Had mine 2 weeks ago as the doctor explained..it has the new strains 4 of them this year (dead of course) injected to trick the body into thinking you have it so the body produces anti-bodies to fight it which helps if you do happen to get it in the future..

High risk categories..elderly, people with diabetes or work in high risk industries Teachers, health workers etc and other immune deficient disorders should get it for sure..

Fit healthy males aged 20-35..I'm not so sure..

I'm booked in for one on Thursday as the council are giving free flu shots for people from my suburb. I usually don't get one but figured if I can avoid flu symptoms this year it will mean I won't need to be tested for covid 19 and that should help a little.

Yep understand that but all beatable sides with the right attitude. Funnily enough we always seem to be at the bottom of the 8 at about the round 20 mark, then fall away in the last 2 rounds.

We are a different side with Madge - going to have our off days like all teams but have the ability to really make a statement in the new 2020 format. I like that Brooks is back from injury and Grant is at 9. Getting excited!
