4 confirmed cases in Australia now. 3 in NSW and 1 in Melbourne, all men aged between 43-53... Scary stuff.

Something very serious is happening here ... the US are evacuating ALL there people quickly on chartered aircraft .. This is not just wear a mask and you will be ok ..
Meantime our Gov allowing thousands a day to enter our country from these infected areas .. never wanting to upset our REAL masters in the North ! as usual..

If you are not concerned you should be because like all viruses it will mutate.Hopefully it will not become like the spanish flu did after WW1 and become a pandemic killing millions of all ages before it mutated out of existence

Like I said if you have existing illnesses you should be concerned if not, no....government really needs to limit who comes in tho...what are they doing sometimes I feel we are run by absolute dummies

When I was there a lot of them were very welcoming and hospitable.....lovely people and it shows you how some of the world live without.......

A lot of not doctors and not scientists offering opinions here.

SARS, swine flu, chicken flu... Asia is a hotbed of the next round of flu outbreak.

If you k ow anything about flu its seasonal and yes it's always mutating, always has been, and they are always working on vaccines ever so slightly behind the upcoming season.

But look at the stats for regular old common flu strains, it's destructive enough.

Yeah ......no natural selection doesn't help but I think we are probably 2 back 2 back pandemics away from a very scary situation
