So if someone you have been near tests positive to Covid19 health care can let you know that you have been in proximity of the virus. If you test positive for Covid19 health care can let those people you have been near know that they have been in close proximity of the virus.

Pretty straight forward really.

9 News now reporting the discrepancy in the ARD log from Ruby Princess and that the full extent of COVID19 infection was not disclosed until after disembarkation. Recall 9 News has been rabid in its attack on NSW Health.

The oversights below involving Ruby Princess and Border Force have had very serious consequences across Australia.

Commissioner Outtram of Border Force publicly stated his organisation gave approval to dock the ship. This is despite the form submitted by Ruby Princess being incomplete. - the MARS form from Ruby Princess had no answer in the section asking if passengers showed signs of COVID19. The. Ship's Dr could not recall or explain why it was incomplete. Why did Border Force allow the ship to dock?

Ship's complete ARD log not submitted to. NSW Health until the morning after the ship docked. This mean the full extent of possible COVID19. infection was not disclosed. The risk assessment would have altered necessitating mandatory isolation for all passengers and special medical transport to hotels. The Ship's Dr claimed she was busy and could not update the log.

NSW. Ports just after 8pm on 18 March prior.to docking asked Ruby Princess if crew members were showing signs of COVID19. The ship replied NO. The Special Commission of Inquiry subsequently heard that a crew member had a temperature of 39.2. which the ship's. Dr conceded should have altered the answe to that question to YES.
