The one hour of exercise per day limit is ridiculous.

I agree but what do they do. They have clearly stated it has nothing at all to do with medical reasons but it's for compliance.

To put it another way it's the easiest way for the police to target people who don't get it.

It’s Fuller thinking that the NSW people serve the NSW police, not the other way around.

I agree but the situation is a disaster. Did you listen to the press conference today. Dr Chant to me appears to be pushing this and she appears right on board to me. It's not as simple as the police force being nightmares. She also confirmed that she hadn't offered her resignation. We have to be careful with news spread via social media.

I do agree with you though. It's just that this is a once in a lifetime scenario. I can also see this turning poorly in certain situations.

I'm hopeful by Christmas we don't have lockdowns ever again. I'm probably too optimistic.

Every problem has a solution.

I'm doing some 110kg deadlifts in support of this @Demps

Heres's a helpful tip for home exercise,

I'm curious how it can be enforced.

I guess on a practical level it might help reduce congestion at parks.

It can't mate. It's not the point though. The idea is simply to try and minimize movements and hopefully get the reproduction rate down.

Very nice!!

Keep up the good work, brother.

I'll be back into on Monday.
Two week break has let me work out the niggles.

Keen.

Mate - I am working on being able to do handstands and L-sits. I am hopeless at handstands. I'm nowhere near it. I can now do an L-sit.

I've also been rocking on the guitar. You buy a little interface into your computer and you get free amps, drum beats and you can listen to music on youtube and play over it.

Loving life.

There is a line in the sand that should never be crossed in a democracy regardless of the circumstances, it’s been crossed this week.

There are just so many people struggling here at the moment and for some that starts with a lack of funds and grows in so many other areas on the back of that. With charities overwhelmed as well.

It is past time for more help for those left behind, with living in poverty hard enough at any time and made much worse during this increasingly challenging period. Virtually every single dollar at the lower level is returned to the economy and lifted so many early on in this pandemic.

It doesn't need to be as large as the first supplements, but should at least get the needy somewhere near the poverty line.

The money is going to run out. I reckon they are giving out heaps. What about the rest of the world as well.

I'm on your side. It's just I see problems everywhere.

I actually agree with you in principle. It's wrong. I don't know what you do though because we are in the middle of a disaster.

I'm hopeful though this ends and we never see this level of police force ever again.

I'm much more on the side of freedoms. I'd even have no problems with no lockdowns and leave it up to the people. The problem is you can't overwhelm the health system.

Giving the police so much power because they ask for it. The thing is they are asking for it to stop movements which stops the health system getting inundated.

At the same time we don't want to be like America and risk losing 10%+ of our population.
America lost 590k with is just under 20% of their population. If you put that into the population of NSW that 500'000+ and our medical practices will be overwhelmed.

I completely agree with you. That is why this situation is so extreme. The issue will be people like myself who are fully vaccinated should be good to go. We are protecting the unvaccinated. At the same time I have a 10 yo son. I also have a 17 yo son and a 19 yo daughter but they've both had their first vaccine. We live in an affected LGA so they've just been able to get vaccinated.

The situation is not so simple.

Earl, I understand vaccinated can still catch Covid and pass it on to others.

Once we get to a certain percentage it will start to be relaxed. We just don't have that number yet.

An epidemiologist who appears on 9 said that will only be possible with numbers significantly reduced. Vaccination alone is not enough.

Vaccinations are not enough. Gladys has to get the numbers way down before any restrictions are relaxed. We need strict compliance and discipline to reduce mobility. Unfortunately the majority pay for the arrogance of those who believe the health orders do not apply to them.

But NSW Health yesterday admitted that most transmission in areas of concern is happening in workplaces and not through non-compliance....
