I think they had to do this. It's too risky not too.
Yep, been talk around the traps for weeks that this may become mandatory.
They've offered vaccination for all staff and as far as I'm aware majority of have agreed.
My team are lined up for Tuesday.
"Sacrifice. To some, it is just a word. To others it is a code. The life of one individual ant does not matter. What matters is the colony. And each soldier knows that he's willing to live for the colony, to fight for the colony, to die for the colony.”
Good but it's not a sacrifice to me. It just makes you and your loved ones significantly safer. I come from a medical family (dad was a doctor and mum a nurse) and everyone just got vaccinated with no issues.
I like the quote. It's from the movie Antz.
Just kinda relates to the bigger picture.
We're all in this together and have to do what's best, not just for ourselves.... but the community, the people around us and our country.
I know people who want to get it done right now but don't qualify and have to wait....
I'm thankful I can do my part and hopefully bring us closer to that 80% and a safer world.
?
I agree with you. We should all pull together. Honestly I think on the whole we are pulling together.
I was really surprised with the amount of disinformation on here at some point but I think those viewpoints are a small minority.
I also think there are lots of migrant communities that require greater focus in getting them along for the ride.
My SIL's family are good people but they don't fit into mainstream society. Interesting point for you Demps. I went out with them a while back and they have massive families. So the brother in law of my brother in law was there. We talked about the Tigers and he told me he played rugby league to a reasonable level. I think he played for Lebanon. He told me his best moment was when he smashed Cameron Smith once. His brother though was one of Canterbury's best players - Hazem El Masri.
