Yeah to be honest, I was just looking for a tangentially related post to reply to because you cant post a photo to a "quick reply". I am not specifically replying to you and to be open I am more kind of responding to Earls assertions but they are kind of too long ago to quote.

My intention with my post isnt to reignite a boring old debate with Earl, it is to do the opposite and merely list just some of the scientific data and literature regarding Ivermectin (a drug which the clinical evidence shows is not statistically effective).

Fair enough. Worldwide it is a very common and effective treatment. Perhaps if we were having the numbers that they are elsewhere other treatments may be investigated.

Why do you think Ivermectin (a drug which the clinical evidence shows is not statistically effective) is used in hospitals worldwide, but hydroxychloroquin is not? Because it actually works and has to be proven to work and be safe.

This is a serious answer. There is incredible 'pressure'/coercion, whatever you want to call it, to get the jab. If people believe they are on their own, that they are the only ones with a "no to this jab" stand, then there is even more pressure to 'cave in'. On the other hand, if one was part of a large minority, it's much easier to stand your ground.
The censorship, the coercion, the continual rhetoric and narrative we are bombarded with, (if you only listen to MSM), is nothing more or less than psychological warfare.

So what do you believe the actual percentage of people vaccinated is?

I really don't know. Guessing, and that is all it is, with input from others I listen to, I reckon 60% over all.

So you reckon all of this 85% fully vaccinated talk is a lie. You do know if people hear things that side towards their way of thinking they are more likely to believe it.

Actually, I think I fairly respectfully suggested you have a look at the way you're approaching this 'discussion'.

You are argumentative in every reply, including putting words in my mouth on several occasions.

To speculate as to why it's not in use here (aside from not being approved/unproven in the eyes of the TGA) : Dexamethasone is the preferred/effective treatment here. An ICU doctor I know (not one for hyperbole) called it a 'game changer' earlier this year and pointed out the quality of ICU care also has a huge impact on patient outcomes.

If the 'streaming' ICUs were suddenly streaming into corridors and we had shipping container morgues filling up with bodies maybe things would be different. Hopefully we never find out.

For that matter, hopefully none of us are ever in the predicament to be administered these drugs; getting vaccinated is your best bet.

Or people who for medical reasons can't get Vaccinated, to me getting vaccinated is a social responsibility that I take seriously as it protects others in the community.

Interestingly I just read that NSW are considering not opening up to unvaccinated until we get to 95% double dosed. I am really pro that decision. I'd also add a health care tax to any unvaccinated people.

It's not personal. I don't really care if individual people don't get vaccinated. It's their call. It's a really poor decision for society though and to me they should have to wear a cost for that.

I'll remain friends with unvaccinated people. I know 2 of them at this point.

To me it's all about the science and the data.

I know at least 6, including my best mate unfortunately. He is not fanatical, he wants a "tested" tech in novavax. Unfortunately this is based on info from an obstetrician advising his wife on fertility options. Poor advice given the evidence around covid and fertility being what it is.

Being out of lockdown has increased my tolerance, but I agree with public health measures that push for 95%
