Yeah, I can't attest to the accuracy of what he's saying. I wouldn't know him from a bar of soap, but it gives another perspective/opinion.

Sounds fair dinkum to me @NT-Tiger...I would have loved to see the follow up interview where the bloke tells us how to keep ourselves 'safe' as I'm sure we can with a few common sense precautions.

Normal hygiene like wash your hands thoroughly and don’t touch your face and avoid direct contact with other people.

Also If you are a smoker, stop if you can to avoid compromised lungs.

If you have a chronic illness make sure you you have enough medication in case you have to self isolate for a couple of weeks.

That’s about all you can do.

And hope no one decides to attempt to break into your house for food etc

Why would they? The food supply chain here is not under threat. Fresh veggies, fruit, meat and dairy will continue to be available. Any shortage of cereal will be temporary if at all. If you have to self isolate shops, family and friends can deliver to your door if you run out of supplies.

If anything we may have more food, as we will be exporting less!

You have to hope that people show up to work or are even allowed to work

Who doesn't have a family member or friend who may become extremely vulnerable if they got CV

If my work place tells me I have a choice whether I go to work or don't I won't be at work I'll take annual leave

And I reckon many others will make the same choice

Why should we risk our own and others lives in any way shape or form

Probably have 4/5 family members who if they got CV are at serious risk of dying ...Mum has a nurse living on one side who works at Gympie Hospital and the new couple who have just moved in next door both work at Nambour Hospital

Yeah I saw a post saying that the NRL players won't meet with fans now because of the corona virus, and the poster commented that "corona virus" was a funny way to spell Okunbor

Also heard that the bakeries are only making white / whole meal bread at present to sure up supplies .
