One day cricketers instructed to keep 2 metres apart on the field. Ok if you are not in the slips or keeper.

I hope the amazing 'Kul' doesn't come down with the corona virus.
Our Wests Tigers Forum would probably crash, and none of us would know how to fill in our spare time if we were to find ourselves in quarantine .

Yep we go 100+ of them on voice so not so easy to do. The problem is if there is a CV19 case in any building they will shut it down and an employee can come to work and if there 2 people come down with virus in their Barangay while they are at work they can get in but cant get out again

Now that Dutton has exposed the Liar from the Shire to the virus (and reportedly other members of Cabinet), things may become interesting as they have to self isolate.

The store manager at Coles in Bathurst told me that people are trying to return huge amounts of toilet paper to his store and the local Woolworths, but they are refusing to take any back.
Some idiots won’t by buying toilet paper for the next 5 years.
Sucked in.

I don’t understand that logic from the stores. There are still many people who have been unable to get any loo paper. If they took back the surplus from those who over bought they could redistribute to the people who don’t have any.

Because this sends a message to the locusts stripping our stores of essential products that you are not the only ones needing these products ...think about your fellow citizens as you try to find somewhere to store your booty for the next two years ...well done not to give refunds to these grubs !
I have been trying to buy toilet paper for some elderly neighbours that have difficulty getting to the shops ! Had some success?

Yeah I agree with that sentiment, but still it just means that they get to hang onto stock of an item that other people desperately need at the moment when it could be redistributed.

Buy it back for half of what it cost the hoarding grubs then resell it at sale price. Easy

There are some simple things that HK does, like plastic film over lift buttons, so that it’s easy to sanitise.

I didn't realise lift buttons were difficult to sanitise? Why can't you just wipe them with disinfectant?

Things start to go overboard in this regard, I mean lift buttons? What about every other public surface in existence, are folks going to walk around opening things with a foot press or elbow or wave at a scanner, just to avoid germs?

Sure as hell don't touch money if germs are a problem, also don't talk to anyone, or shake hands - no no, that's instant transferal. We can all then add to the immuno-weaknesses that already might exist because some mums excessively disinfect their house and kids don't get a proper dose of bugs in their childhood.

This mentality is why Australia isn't going to do well through this.

The "Yeah, nah, she'll be right". Will make you tougher kind of response. Bud, that's why there will be a vaccination eventually built to ensure our immune systems can cope.

I mean, where do you draw the line? Would SARS landing in Australia mean that we start doing some smart things? Ebola?

High-touch surfaces such as lift buttons, public toilet doors (keep them open) all helps. You could label it soft. Label it an overreaction. But I would prefer to go with facts rather than a uncorrelated assumption about cleanliness causing auto-immune issues. Sounds all a bit anti-vax!

It is an over reaction though . Running around like chicken little is mental . Even at its worse it is only affecting a small percentage of the population. Kids are immune , relatively young people will experience mild symptoms, even the over 65s have a small percentage of the total population affected.
Cleary your hands , follow basic hygiene and she will be right . And if you have a preexisting respiratory or heart problem , than yea be more diligent . Otherwise it’s business as usual .

Yep. Business as usual.

My point was valid at the time based on the information at the time. Authorities are erring on the side of caution. Everything I said was true though . If you’re relatively healthy it’s equivalent to a mild flu or a strong cold . Going mental over toilet paper is embarrassing.

Domestic

Ink. I have a business in Pasig-Ortigas and live here. They have quarantined Metro Manila for 30 days and that means no one can come in or out unless for work. Last Friday there were 3 reported cases . Today there are 57. Not sure if you are going to province but that is relatively safe at the moment. If going to Metro Manila then forget it as I think there are a high number of unreported cases and it is going to explode. Thats why they locked it down now.

Yeah.... Our trip is off. Our domestic travel there all cancelled though the flights to and from Manila are not meaning a refund looks unlikely... Bastds ?

National emergency declared in the US. Wonder what that hick Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon supporter who called it a hoax created by the democrats is thinking now 🤔
