No problem with Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon or anyone else calling out the WHO, nor China on some of their approach, or even calling it the Wuhan virus if you feel the need.

Cutting funding at this point though, in the middle of a pandemic that is starting to encroach on developing nations, is disgraceful and even more so when it is politically motivated. All who failed and at all levels, will be held to account in some form as time passes and some quicker than others, but it is not the time to further cripple such organisations.

Not necessarily agreeing or disagreeing with you, but I actually wonder what the WHO's role is with the epidemic now. I genuinely cant work out what their role would be now. When the epidemic began, THAT would have been the time for it to play its part by monitoring the virus and warning its member states and providing important information that member states can use to make important decisions to save lives. It failed miserably in this role.

What the hell would they be doing now? Now the rubber has hit the road and this thing is wild, there is no way doctors are seeking out WHO for information, they are networking amongst themselves. I think the WHO are an ashtray on a motorbike now.

Especially for non smokers, meanwhile, I expect that the WHO are at their busiest point ever right now and networking through them is paramount for many nations.

The WHO should have said nice things about him. Oh well, live and learn.

Probably, but whilst on that band and talking about my generation in particular. It is hard to believe that so many of them, even here where we had a good education in the seventies and eighties to, plus even more so with free university for those before me, still listen to such leaders. Greed is a terrible thing, but I still want to protect their lives from this deadly virus.

I know we all have varying opinions on the covid19 virus and we all argue amongst ourselves whos opinion is better than others etc etc, however we are all good human beings that only want whats best for us and our wonderful communities...which brings me to my point, what low life person in these times of absolute horrendous situations goes to an emergency room with a cut arm and when the doctor comes to treat her she SPITS in his face...very low thing to do...it certainly angers me no end how people think they are in a position to do as they like because they are caught up in this virus like most of us..it happened in Hornsby hospital..she has been arrested..

No normal healthy person does that. Clearly this woman has drug/mental illness issues or both.

The stats on the NSW Health website make interesting reading. With the death today in the ACT of a 19th passenger off Ruby Princess, I wonder how many more former passengers are in ICUs in Australia and on ventilators?

Is it feasible it is a more virulent strain on Ruby Princess or just impacting on older demographic? The lady whom died in the ACT was only 63.![alt text](![image url](image url))

Doesn't the age risk ratchet up at 60 and higher?

Plenty of people have been dying of it in their 60's overseas.

Yes 60 is the start of the high death rates, with it the chances of dying increasing from there!

It is shoçking passengers can be healthy enough to walk of a ship and then be dead in 2 weeks. Even more shocking is that there hav3 been increased bookings for cruises for 2021.

The increase in bookings may be because some cruises are offering 100% refund on booked cruises, but 125% of that money worth if you use to book another with them in the future.

I got a 200% credit, we were actually on the ship, bags delivered to our room, sitting down eating lunch when the captain announced due to covid19 the cruise was cancelled.

They gave us the option to leave or stay for the night and leave the next morning
They also gave the option to get a full refund or a 200% credit.
There were people from NZ who had to get back before the quarantine date, poor buggers

Hospitals are getting paid more to list patients as Covid-19 and three times as much if the patient goes on a ventilator, according to The Spectator.

Last night Senator Dr. Scott Jensen from Minnesota went on The Ingraham Angle to discuss how the AMA is encouraging American doctors to overcount coronavirus deaths across the US.

This was after Dr. Scott Jensen, a Minnesota physician and Republican state senator, told a local station he received a 7-page document coaching him to fill out death certificates with a Covid-19 diagnosis without a lab test to confirm the patient actually had the virus.

Dr. Jensen also disclosed that hospitals are paid more if they list patients with a Covid-19 diagnosis.

And hospitals get paid THREE TIMES AS MUCH if the patient then goes on a ventilator.

Senator Dr. Scott Jensen: Right now Medicare is determining that if you have a Covid-19 admission to the hospital you get $13,000. If that Covid-19 patient goes on a ventilator you get $39,000, three times as much. Nobody can tell me after 35 years in the world of medicine that sometimes those kinds of things impact on what we do.

But I'm sure the families of the people who passed away think it matters what instructions the Health Minister gave, don't you?

The familes of the people who didnt pass away would be thankful that the Health Minister (elected official) listened to the experts and made changes to save lives.

Of course the Health Minister and his experts are puppets, just parroting what their greater masters told them. Funny how we have had 120 years of democracy and yet we have never had a minister ever come out and say "you know what, we just did what the lizard men told us to".......in EVERY nation,

You sound like a pretty intelligent human being, why are you here wasting your time arguing with nutjobs like me?
I'm just a hippie freebird trying to live my life minding my own business.
I don't lock myself inside during flu season every year when thousands of people die and I'm not now and never will.

You could be saving the world with virus stats and colourful graphs, yet you're wasting brain cells on me.

Seems to be the case, and despite many opportunities and requests to make your case you have declined like a coward. On every occasion when I have sensibly responded to your nonsense you have obfuscated and changed the subject. So either put up your case of who is calling the tunes for the likes of Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon, Johnson & Scomo (and every other nation) to back up your wild theories, or keep them to yourself.

Unless you provide something constructive to the discussion, we are done so dont bother otherwise.

I noticed you didn't say anything about not paying to attend a David Icke talk, you did didn't you, wow, if you don't mind me asking, how much was it?
Do you still have your Lizard mask?

Enjoy your captivity

No idea who David Icke is, wasnt aware that he toured or that tickets could be bought, but then again also dont think there is a global conspiracy and if I did and thought it was worth defiling the rights of my fellow Australians, I would like to think I would have enough courage and integrity to put up and have the courage of my convictions. But it seems that not everone has integrity or courage. It seems that many can make big accusations but when it gets time to stand behind them the completely go to water and dont have the guts to stand up and own their beliefs. I know that these people exist and the name for them, cowards.

Its jarring to meet one in real life though I have to admit.

Ihave had many back and forths in these forums and before engaging with you I have never finished a discussion without respect in any but one case and that person I just dont engage with anymore. Everyone else in this forum, regardless of opinion or politics I respect because of our shared love of the Tigers and I respect their convictions and beliefs, despite the fact that they are contrary to mine. You on the other hand and a coward and arrogantly benefit from everyone else while belittling their sacrifice.

I have never blocked/ignored anyone here but if you continue to engage with me I might have ticked that box as well.

It goes both ways, at any time you can stop pressing letters.

I'm not holding a gun to your head making you respond, if I'm getting under your skin maybe you should ask yourself why you're still here responding.
Don't blame me.

Agreed

Agreed. Unfortunately this is not as uncommon as you would like to think. User pays HMO based healthcare is based on this sort of health economics.
