Doesn't explain why you should have a choice that others don't.

My parents have both had clotting issues, but don't fit the specific 4 conditions that give them automatic access to Pfizer. They have sought medical advice and as they are 87 & 88 respectively with dementia, as a representative of their children I also spoke to their doctor long ago.

It does make you wonder where we'd be if the Government had not made a distinction between Pfizer and AZ - simply open the clinics, walk in and get vaccinated with 'a vaccine'. Hesitancy would barely exist.

Similar to your parents, I have a long history of clotting issues and my Dr recommended not to get AZ. There was nothing I could do to get Pfizer so had to choose between being unvaccinated or taking AZ. My Dr finally agreed that COVID was the greater risk and I'm now lining up for my second AZ next week.

It kills me. Imagine all the kids vaccines or flu vaccines we've taken but now it's COVID we have to know the brand.

Please enlighten us all with all of the kids or flu vaccines that have more than one option? I'll wait.

All of my kids are fully vaccinated but Ill tell you what if there were two different MMR vaccines, Ill tell you which one I would get injected into them. The one with the highest efficacy. Which MMR vaccine would you get injected into your kids if there were more than one option?

You go and take your medicine. Let the medical system choose which one to give you.


One thing that hasn't been said is some doctors are hopeless. We go to the local GP and there is this kid there who can't offer an opinion. He is hopeless. You just have to go to a different doctor.

If Earl continues to lie and spread misinformation about the efficacy of the vaccine. I will continue to call him out. He is flat out **lying** and **spreading misinformation** about the vaccines, something many others have been banned for. I have proved this over and over again but he is allowed to continue.

Every time I have called him out, I have accompanied it with published data in respected medical journals and the reason I have is because it matters, peoples choices shouldn't be coloured by something someone makes up. He **CONTINUES** to spread this misinformation based on **NOTHING** but his own opinion derived from a Vox video. No other references.

Asking us to both cut it out is a **complete** cop out. **ONE** person is blatantly, willfully and knowingly spreading misinformation about such a critical subject, with zero data to back it up. I am calling him out based on published data which I have posted every time.

**Do your job**. If this is an important enough issue then you have 3 options.Stop him from posting blatant misinformation (ban him, delete his posts), close the thread or ban me (the one with the peer reviewed data). **DO YOUR JOB**. If you dont then we can only assume that you do not think that posting accurate information about the efficacy of vaccines is important and that posting complete and **demonstrated** lies *verified by the New England journal of Medicine) in this thread, in the middle of a medical crisis is acceptable in which case I dont want to be part of the forum under that moderation.

I can't speak for all the mods but I don't read every post..especially in this thread..

I have reported, repeatedly. Using both the report function button and direct messaging to the Mods (two of them). Nothing has happened. Now one of the mods has told me to "cut it out" when I am simply drawing attention to blatant misinformation regarding the vaccines in a medical crisis.

I'm not stopping. If Earl continues to lie about the efficacy of the vaccines in contradiction to the scientific advice and data provided by the New England Journal of Medicine, I will continue to call him out.....repeatedly.

I find it strange that the one calling out misinformation is the one getting called out, not the one spreading the misinformation. As I ahve said elsewhere in this thread, I can only assume the mods are ok with it.

I only read those posts because they are quoted by other people. I don't see anything wrong in my posts.

Go and get medical advice. Follow the medical advice. It's pretty funny to state that is disinformation.

I think someone got something wrong again and they get upset. Facts are facts baby. Deal with it.

I should add if anyone can correct my understanding factually on anything I reckon that is awesome.

If doctors and nurses can wear a masks for 8 hours or more you can wear 1 for 2 - 4 hours a day.

Isnt the whole point of masks to reduce the amount of aerosolised COVID particles expelled? In which case a mask simply provides a barrier to catch some?
