Could Farah seek a release???

Release Robbie, most disturbing thing I have read here in 4 years. 😕

2nd most disturbing is Fitzy coming back. :astonished:

Farah is just that type of player where he puts in 110% EVERY week. Being like this has it's downside at times, and there is no middle ground. Either the "hero" or the "villain".
A few years ago, Farah cost the team a spot in the finals because he was adamant his back was fine and just wanted to continue to play injured. I recall that fateful day against the Bunnies at Leichhardt which brought Farah to tears very clearly.
Well Faffy…i do know you read this forum as you like having your tyres pumped up, reflect on how you felt that day to how i felt last week on the sidelines at Gold Coast. No need to be the "hero" every week, it's a TEAM sport.

I agree with the sentiment of your post but I truly believe that the kick on Saturday was the right option. (maybe not telegraph it so much before kicking it next time)

I'd rather have a player of his talent who has no middle ground and give 110% every time than one who is to scared to try the hero play and never know.

Exactly. He took a chance, it didn't pay off.

If he kicked it, he would be a hero. It didn't work, nothing anyone can do.

Farah is going no where, he has so much wests tiger blood running through his body he could share it with the entire team if needed.

Our season which started poorly, continued through-out until the final 9 games, our late run was amazing and proved once you have a good side that bonds can turn into anything. The eels games killed us in so many ways, the injuries that came from that night just turned us upside down, and we still nearly beat them. No other team has gotten close to the eels in the past 8 weeks and neither will the Dragons on Fri night. HAd we played any other team we would be in the 8 right now, just wasn't to be.

Losing Keith at the time we did certainly didn't help either, the form he was in prior, well maybe we could have gotten over the line a few more times had be been there.

The intoduction of Moltz to half and mouse to Full back this year gives us solid death for next season, losing hodgo was like losing Prince, was always going to take time as they are such pivotal positions in our side, and the way we play. I thought the return of Skandalis was exciting and well worth the trouble they went to getting him there. I saw him last night actually and no doubt his ready for another season, he looked fantastic for his age.

The big "T" had a season and a half, he would have warapped the leading try scoring scoop up easily had he not injured and I though Beau Ryan who started poorly really finished the eason off well also.

I thought it wasn't too bad in the end, had a few of the 5 games that we lost by 2 or 1 ppoints went our way, who knows?

Anyway, could be worse, could be a rooster or shark fan….

This year referees have refused to penalise markers who stand in no mans land and tackle dummy half runners . It has been a blatant disregard of enforcing the rules by referees because the league wants to discourage dummy half running - Robbie is a master at this ploy and in the past a lot of our go forward has been from piggy back penalties in this area - not so this year - and yet when you look at Robbies overall stats he is a class above any other hooker in the NRL.

Robbie needs to get his form back - he has been poor since SOO. Watmough & Hayne have really kicked on whereas Robbie has gone backwards. Anyone suggesting Robbie is too good for this team is kidding themselves.

He has been a below par performer this year and he needs to improve significantly.

Robbie is still recovering from the huge kick in the guts he got from the NSW selectors.
How you compare to Watmough and Hayne is silly, they were not dropped and blamed for the loss of the series.

I'm only stating that Watmough & Hayne are two examples of players who have really improved since origin. Farah played poorly in origin and has gone backwards since then.

I hope he turns his game around because he is a quality player.

Robbie needs to find his mongrel again. He should wear the insulation tape around his noggin every week - seemed to do the trick before.

I reckon he is one of our players who have been taking the field with pain killing injections. Manages 50-60 minutes and then stays on to scare the opposition only.
