Could Israel Folou ignite our Backline

Compare him to Tedesco and Slater and tell me you wouldn't take him......

I would take a chance on him for a 2 year contract

His notoriety would pay his contract in gate takings alone

The bloke is a complete peanut and he hasn’t played the game in 8 years. He would only bring us bad publicity.

In what position is he being considered in? Fullback? Winger? He'd probably want close to a $1m a season right? Surely not as a winger, and is it worth the risk to pay him that much to have a go at fullback, after 8 years away from the game when he was a winger anyway.

Or is the $1m a season I'm thinking too high, is the figure more like $500k. On that money, as a winger, if we couldn't get JAC, then maybe make enquiries... but all in all I'm against it as I think the risk outweighs the potential reward - at any price.

Absolute oxygen thief. Would seriously consider following afl until his contract was up. Luckily, the tigers would never sign him.

And a winger as well ...don't compare to fullbacks

Hmmm...... 92 tries in rugby (Super rugby and international) mostly at fullback, I think you can compare that to most current NRL fullbacks

Yes. He wouldn't survive the first baptism of fire.

This is where the NRL . Clubs and supporters are fools. Why even give breath to him in the media ... he hasn’t played out game for like 8 years ... has played for not one both our competitors ... he is 30 years and past his prime , he has never been a drawcard ( gws had great crowds when he played for them) , was sacked by RU So only reason he wants to rejoin because can’t get gig elsewhere

yes what he did (By the way I think was a nothing incident ) is less than others given a second chance but they were league players , he is a union player we should not be risking our sport over a In ion player

Well no NRL club was using him at fullback ....he will want 7 figures and you want to stick him at fullback unproven in that position in this code

Yes they will. Ever heard of free speech?

Some of the crap that is written on this forum drives me crazy. But people can say pretty much what they like, which is a good thing.

If you don’t like it, don’t read it or just ignore it. Your choice.

Just because you don’t agree with someone’s point of view, doesn’t give you the right to stop them from expressing those views.

It’s a yes from me.

sure have.

There is nothing in Free Speech that says you need to hire the guy who is shooting their mouth off.

In fact the exact opposite. The person shooting their mouth off should expect to receive loud negative feedback. Yet instead of learning hard lessons, people run to courts and get a nice paycheck explaining how their feelings were hurt by them making their free speech.

Sadly at the moment, we promote people who say the silliest things. We seem to give the toddlers with the foul mouths all the attention in the world. #notworking

The guy is 30 years old, will offer nothing but derision and division, it's a NO from me.
