Could this be Lawrence wake up call....

Your no3 and no4 usually play as well as the service they get from the men inside them and that has been crap. I would imagine if given the chance Rowdy would have done very well running onto a few of Carney great balls, but on present form you would have to agree with the selectors, but than again what has Jennings done???

Sticky says Jenning's origin shot may get his season back on track at club level… but doesn't afford the same opportunity to Lawrence who although not playing great has probably been better than Jennings the last few games? Typical.

And neither Morris should be allowed near origin. Too soft in that arena.

I'd like to have think Chris would have stepped up if given the chance, but he now has the opportunity to lift his game without so much pressure and show he is up to it in SOO 2 or 3 if needed. Hopefully Sheens will stop mucking him around and let him concentrate on doing what he does well in the centres.

Jennings' form has hardly been bad IMO.

He's scored six tries this season in a terrible team. In 8 games he has 6 offloads, 6 line-breaks, 85 tackles with 11 missed, 10 errors and 103 runs for 999 metres.

Compare that to Lawrence:

In 9 games he has 2 offloads, 2 line-breaks, 154 tackles with 22 missed, 14 errors and 89 runs for 733 metres.

There is no way in the world Lawrence has played better than Jennings this year.

Personally I find the whole left side ride side business a load of crap. Just pick the best 2 centres and be done with it - they'll figure it out.

They did.

Anyone who thinks Lawrence should have been picked is mad. Take off your Tiger glasses, he's been rubbish all year.

Christ almighty I was offering an opinion on the whole left centre right centre thing. Get off my freakin back will you! My post had nothing to do with Lawrence - I didn't even mention his name!

Hybrid well done on the stats, I was analyzing those myself during the week, in saying that there is a lot the stats don't tell us, but to the person who said Lawrence has struggled this year especially in defense, look at the stats, he has an 88% success rate defensively, and he has made a shit load more tackles as an absolute total, so I would say defensively he's been ok, it's the attack that has been poor

To some extent he's been a victim of the service he's getting. Lawrence is probably the best whole running centre in the game. The try against Parra was nice though…

I just want Lawrence to find his best form, the Tigers are desperately needing the backline to fire and Rowdy needs to lift. Despite only being 23, he's one of the senior guys in the side and hopefully the rest last weekend did him some good.

I agree, we know he can be a devastating player and really give the opposition a very hard time.
the sooner he rips apart the opponents the better, for him and the team

Yeah x2\. I really would love to see the Lawrence/Lote combination firing again like in 2010 😛ray: Those injuries last year have just stuffed them both so much.

WT flatness for 2012 so far has put most origin candidates out of the spotlight… Farrah is in more for being a bit of a standout in recent weeks and ennis not in form
