Craig Bellamy

Watched "One day at a time " last night and was pretty impressed with him with the way he spoke and the passion he has for the game and his players . I think he is among the top coaches in the NRL alongside Bennett , Sheens and Hasler .
It is amazing how he seems to get the best out of fringe A graders and they fire like top notch players . He even showed some humility by admitting he and the players failed to stick with the game plan in Origin . I understand he has the best players in the world in key positions Slater and Smith but reckon he could do the same with most clubs in NRL .
I must admit you hear his nickname and see his rants in the grandstand and thought he was probably a big prick but my opinion has changed now
Just wondering what others opinion are of him as a coach ??

Well hes yet to prove himself outside of melbourne and they were way over the cap and lets face it no slater no smith all of a sudden they become average and some of these fringe first graders dont look as good either.smith and slater hardly get injured either and that helps.

When your winning most players look good.

players like him id say so thats a good start.

Wonder if learned any of his coaching skill off Shiffty Sheens while playing for the Canberra Raiders, perhaps Balmain Bug could shed some light or put across his point of view on this topic, sure hes got something to say about this.

Irrespective of the salary cap breaches, Bellamy is good at nurturing talent. He turned unknowns with raw potential like Smith, Slater, Cronk & a lesser extent Inglis and turned them into world beaters.
