English are 3-27, Harris takes two wickets and comes off.

Pietersen just given out and appealed via DRS hotspot showed no edge. I'll bet he'll be talking about DRS in today's post match conference. Walked off swearing his head off.

Sucked in to the part time soap dodger.

If the weather holds out we are a chance , repeat what I said in the first innings Bell is the big one now , if we can knock him over before the tea interval we will win

Still think rain and light will play a big part. The way the series is going, won't surprise me if we have them 7 or 8 down just after tea and the umpires pull the plug again.

Yeah it's already starting to look a little dark.

Promising signs here though. The Aussies have shown a bit of fight and proven they can put runs on the board. The bowlers have stood up to be counted again.

Good signs ahead if the top and middle order have a bloody go.

Yes it looks like weather will beat them.
Points decision to the Aussies but that won't get the urn back.

Wont get the urn back but it will boost our confidence, deflate theirs to a point and give us a launching pad to attack for the remaining tests before dragging them over here for a touchup during our summer. I am prepared for us to lose this series yet cause damage to their psychy and really use it as a warm up for our real tilt at getting the urn back in a few months time.

God damn, can't stand reading Cricinfo. its so clearly aimed towards English supporters. Haven't seen a single anti-England article and the comments are heavily moderated. Good luck finding a negative comment regarding the spirit of the game, cheating or how England were absolutely rubbish. I'm done reading that stupid website until England are done playing.

Its more frustrating than the DT. At least I can laugh at the stupidity of their articles.

Be some win if the Aussies get 299 to win ….. They are long odds in my book but you never know ..... The openers will need to get half the runs between them and hope Clarke gets another score then maybe. Pitch is still playing Ok but Swan maybe hard to play on day 5.
Could be a late start to work tomorrow.

This match is very delicately poised. 1-120 chasing 299 at tea. Those who get in have go keep going as its hard pitch to get in on. I'd say England are still favourites as they have the runs on the board but the next 2 partnerships are absolutely crucial.

I take full responsibility for our collapse ,I wake up and we are 170 -3 and cruising it appears and then Clarke gets a absolute jaffa from Broad and it has all turned to poo from here

Well this was quite a collapse. A couple of unplayable balls for our best batsman (Clarke and Warner), others finding ways to get out playing on or hitting their pads (Khawaja and Smith), Watson LBW again!, and Haddin given out LBW with the ball barely touching the stumps.

Those runs Bresnan and Swann got were very valuable at the end of the innings.

Bird hasn't had the impact the selectors would have liked so I'll be surprised to see him play in front of Starc in the last test. Watson may not be fit enough to play so Hughes will find himself back in the team.

The Series has been very close bar that one flogging at Lords from memory. A 14 run loss and a draw where the Aussies were looking extremely good and now this match where once again we were looking good before a collapse on a tricky pitch. England are not that far away. I really do think despite what this Ashes series ends up, that Australia can win them back down here.

At the start of the Ashes I saw Anderson as the key to Englands chances

The last few Tests have changed my opinion ,imo Stuart Broad is the No 1 English bowler

He was absolutely devastating with the reverse swing today

And we continually prove we can't cope when the ball starts reversing
