The Poms had way too long to set themselves up for that. We needed to bat on longer not necessarily to score more runs but to dry up the time they had to chase the total. Had we hung around for two more sessions it might have been a very different game.

Nothing in cricket grinds my gears more than when teams use their reviews on decisions that are only marginally wrong. They weren't brought in for that, they were brought in for the absolute howlers, like the LBW this morning. I know Paine was desperate, and who knew what would happen 3 balls later, but imo its against the spirit of the game when teams stand around debating whether they can reverse the decision. When its a clanger like the LBW there's no debate needed because its obvious.
