A very lacklustre performance by the Aussies last night.

I didnt watch some of the match but the bowling just lacked spice and I think it showed in that our bowlers only took 3 wickets while there were 3 run outs.

Lee was good but the others struggled for penetration.

It is a worry but with how this tournament is set up, all you need to do is make the 1/4s, have 3 good games in a row and the World Cup yours.

I'd say 12 teams is a good number for the World Cup. Ireland and Netherlands have been pretty good but Canada and Kenya have largely been rubbish. Go back to having the associates WC before the main event and give the 2 finalists a spot. 3 spots if you want to send the Zimbos there as well.

Im almost certain Bangladesh wont beat South Africa so England look like they are through.

England have 5/6 points against teams that progessed, and 2/6 against teams that didn't. Hopefully we finish them off in the quarters.

The Windies need to beat India (but not by too much so India's NRR stays in tact, a tie will also put the Windies ahead of England on NRR) and Bangladesh need to beat South Africa. For England to bow out. I think they're safe.

Australia are facing Pakistan today for top spot in the group.

I have my sides semi-final this weekend. For 2 weeks, the forecast has been possible shower and its barely rained. Come semi-final day its rained all day. No play. More than likely no play tomorrow. Finishing 4th, we are out.

India have a rubbish bowling attack, but one of the greatest ODI batting line ups ever. If our bowlers fire, we're a real chance, but if they don't we could be chasing 400+.
