We have some legends amongst us ..

@happy_tiger was selected as Queensland keeper back in the day ..
He did his Achilles and lost his place to none other than Ian Healy ..

My closest thing to a claim to fame is I played against Peter Toohey & Laxman Sivaramakrishnan (in the same game). Toohey had obviously retired from first class cricket but I had heard all week from my captain about how good he was.

Toohey came out to bat, my captain bowling and first ball he played probably the most gorgeous cover drive I have ever seen and I thought "Oh wow this guy can bat". Second ball he pushes out of his crease and misses it and I was still thinking about how good his previous shot was and I missed a pretty regulation stumping. Toohey ended 104no. My captain (good friend) will still remind me 20 something years later.

As W G Grace might have said: "They came to watch me bat, not you keep....!"

I rolled Richard Chee Quee twice in one over in a game of indoor haha.

Burns showed enough today. Granted Shami couldn't bowl and we only needed 90 to win but he dug in despite his issues, got his eye in and then had a go. Took him what 17 deliveries to strike his first scoring shot and then amassed 53 runs off the next 46 deliveries. He showed enough to stay on. I'm still not sold on Wade. Everything going his way today and still threw it away.

Agree with what you said except don’t think Wade threw it away - pretty unlucky dismissal. I’d go Warner and Burns though.

Any time you charge down the wicket you have to be sure the ball doesn't go behind square unless it is by design.
