The weather is part of cricket and sometimes you just gotta cop it on the chin.

Michael Vaughan said yesterday he thought Cummins the most reactive Aussie captain he has ever seen . I am of the opinion that fast bowlers in general do not make good captains .

I think with the way the last two captains went down. First Smith‘s ball tampering, and Paine cheating on his wife, it was important that the new guy be someone who is likeable. And Cummins is a kind of dude who you would be happy to take home to meet your mother. Fast bowlers as captains never work though.

This is my idea. Get the last guy out, then bat and make one more run than the required target. That’s what to do !😂

In ODI cricket no other country even comes close to number of World Cups won by Australia not to mention a few losing finals
However in my Opinion 2 recent days I find disturbing
- our Day 2 in the field at Old Trafford was as poor and dumb as I can remember
- our Day 2 ( first 3 hours ) with the bat at the Oval was the poorest gutless batting I've seen .
One way to fix all is bat fantastic Day 4 at the Oval THATS TODAY !
