All in all ,time for a bit of perspective .Australia have been great for a few years especially 2023 .World Test champions World ODI champions ,Retain Ashes in UK etc etc
Weve won a lot of silverware .Our fast bowling trio have played almost every match in Test and 50 over world cup .
So what we won 4 test matches this summer and lost 1 test by 8 runs . The Gabba test was a really bad one to lose the toss and thought our bowling unit looked a little tired and had to bowl in the most hot and humid days whereas the Windies bowled in the overcast days and the test still went down to the wire .
My only criticism is perhaps they could have given one of our drinks carrying fringe bowlers a go in this last test with the Trophy already retained .We need to have an eye on the future
Well done West Indies .Well done Shamar but also well done Australia for bringing us a lot of joy over the last few years esp 2023 !!!

Possible extra runs in the 1st innings by us wouldn't have helped .....10 extra as I mentioned would of been helpful .....maybe my maths and logic is shit .....it wasn't as if time was an issue either ....
