Yes the NZ tour important but technically doesn't come into the Australian 23/24 summer of cricket
We are going to miss Davy his 3 T20 innings were 70, 22 and 81 with MOM in first and MOS .Also I think Bartlett and Johnson are 2 very good bowlers to have waiting in the wings for when Hazo and Starc retire from tests .At times Maxxy is freakish

Maxy is great to watch when he’s on, just so much fun as a spectacle to watch what can be done and the limitless skill with the bat. This T20 format really allows him to be free and implement his diverse ability with the bat without the fear of getting out early or with an unconventional shot and being ridiculed for it. A freedom he sometimes gets in th ODIs and probably never in tests.
Yeah Bartlett and Johnson look really good. Bartlett swinging it both ways just does it for me 😜. I would be fast tracking his red ball career asap.

133 more wickets to be precise but with 61 more test matches and counting !
What a shame the greatest fast bowler of all time IMHO D K Lillee only played 70 tests for his 355 wickets and they didn't count the huge bag of wickets he got in the "super tests " where the opposition was more star studded than the official tests

Ashwin cost them five runs before they even start by running down the wicket. I like these in game penalties, the sooner they start with the timer between balls the better.
