Great day, always is when you’re on top. Great weather. Great pitch. The SCG is still my favourite ground to watch cricket.
The weather held the green in the pitch all day but tomorrow’s gunna be 28 by 11am, so I reckon that pitch will be a lot more beige by lunchtime.
So we need see off the new ball and plunder all arvo. Bat until mid arvo day three so you can watch the boys (the bowlers), carve their way through the top order for half day four. Then we can all pack our bags for the WTC Stevo.
God I love test match cricket, and it’s great having a day live. I’d love to do all five days one time.
I was supposed to be here till at least Tuesday so I probably would’ve backed up again day four. But my dog sitter cancelled at the last minute and I have to go home Sunday now.

India lost the fourth test.
He had a lot to do with that by destroying Bumrah in the first session and emboldening our batting order to score over 470 runs.

Sam didn’t even look Bumrah’s way after the wicket. It was all just games manship.

You’re making it out like he somehow turned the series cos he went after him on Boxing Day. Australia already gained the ascendancy in Adelaide. And then dominated in Brisbane after a big first innings., despite the weather. Bumrah wiped the floor with them in the second innings at the MCG and put them in a winning position. But as usual in this series, got no support and the game managed to slip away.

I’ve said none of that.
I said he contributed to that win by attacking the bowler who was worrying our batsmen. This put said bowler off his game for long enough that we could mount what ended up becoming a winning total.
