Crawley and Duckett belting it everywhere but the Indian attack of Siraj and Deep look weak with no Bumrah
Cant understand England bowl this morning with a 65 over ball which was swinging and seaming a mile yet Indian bowlers with a new ball getting very little movement ?
Crawley and Duckett 0-51 off 7 overs
These 2 guys are a little scary re the Ashes !

Just watched the final hour of day 5 England vs India
England needed just 35 runs
India needed 4 wickets
First 2 balls of day went for 4 Only 27 needed
Then 4 wickets India win by 6 runs
England were at one point 3-301 chasing 374
All out 367 that's 7-66
Series tied 2-2
The pommy press will have apoplexy

Bit of a new era for India
Rohit Sharma ,Viral Kohli and Ravichandran Ashwin retired
Bumrah out injured
Its clear for the big 3 Australia ,England and India that test cricket is huge
So the ICC need to share the riches so Test Cricket doesn't become just a
3 horse race .Promote the red ball game in the struggling countries

Following England 2-2 drawn series with India .The total focus of the Poms now is the Ashes .Nothing matters more to them than regaining the Ashes
They have a few batsmen in serious form
Crawley ,Duckett , Root , Brook now what do we have ?
We thrashed the Windies 3-0 but looking at our batting in most recent test vs more serious opposition ie South Africa in June
That test Kwajaja ave 3.0 Labuschagne ave 19.5 Green ave 2.0 Smith ave 39.5
Head ave 10.0 Webster 40.5 Carey ave 33.0 Starc 59.0 Cummins 4.0
Lyon 1.0 Hazelwood 17.0
Only Smith ,Webster ,Starc and Carey got satisfactory averages
Big concern is our top 3
Needs serious attention before Nov
Cant imagine anything worse than the Poms regaining the Ashes in Australia

They’re a big chance I think. We need two openers and a number 3 probably. Not sure Green is up to batting 3 unless we’re 1 for 200.

Well despite a bunch of our batters failing in game 1vs Sth Africa we still have a fairly comfortable win .This makes 9 in a row for Australia
Head looked out of touch .Inglis out first ball , Maxxy out for 2 ,Owen failed but
Marsh his usual 16 off 8 balls so we got a reasonable score 178 thanks to our T20 star Tim David 83 and a good knock 35 from Green .Dwarshuis also played an important role given we were 7 down in less than 9 overs .
With the ball Hazo was magic ,Maxxy bowled well and took another of his
"All time great catches "
This is a game where you must hit 6's and we hit 13 ( 8 by Tim David )
The Sth Africans could only manage 2 or 3
Australia 10/178 ( 20 overs ) Sth Africa 9/161 ( 20 overs )

Ellis copped a pasting with the ball, but I think I heard them say he hit his first international T20 6. It was a nice shot too.

See that punter with 2x cans of beer in one hand, and obviously with no room to move, take a one handed crocodile catch. That was fair dink one of the best crowd catches ever.

I watched it a few times.

I think this is where Australia is lacking in T20s. I disagree with you in terms of 6s. Yes you need to him them but just like ODIs, you need to build up to it with a big finish. It helps to have guys like Maxi and David who can hit them from Ball 1 but I feel Australia lacks that David Warner who can keep striking at 120 for a few overs then explode at the end.

I understand Australia has won 9 in a row but for big tournaments, I feel Australia will struggle.

I can't wait for the Ashes this year.

The Ind Eng series may have been a draw but Ind got the "moral victory". I hope Aussies sledge the crap out of the Pommis on the field. for their "moral standards"
