Happy Ashes all. I can't remember being this excited for a series or maybe its just years of conditioning by the Tigers have just taught me to forget the previous years!

Predicting 3-1 Australia. Steve Smith top run scorer and man of the series. England worries me if they can keep their bowlers on the field and Stokes does Stokes things. Should be a great series.

If we win the toss no doubt the runsmith will elect to bat - as he has done so almost every other time. If Sotkes wins the toss we might be batting anyway given the Bazball philosophy of trying to score big runs on day 2/3 when the movement dies down and before the pitch starts to deteriorate.

I think the poms have been building towards the Ashes for couple of years and can be expected to take an unorthadox approach. I trust if they choose to bat we treat them the same way we did Hussain in Brizzy and force them into long days in the field before grinding them in the run chase.
