What about a person that makes a mistake, is sorry for it, completes his punishment, works hard on atonement, and then as another person showing some forgiveness for ya kids to see that humans are not flawless and if they are remorseful and now more likely to be a better human afterwards they can be forgiven?

Scooting around Noosa with a pillow under one arm?
Archers problems aren’t talent. It’s his marshmallow inside, he’s like a big caramallow bar.
I reckon I could change his mindset before the next test, but he’d need to be a citizen of Oz.
How often do you see an Ozy who can bowl at 150 suddenly open with 135? And if they did they’d have a broke leg or sacked. It looked like he had no confidence in his teammates after that first drop catch. Every time walking back he was huffing and puffing like a horse, you could tell he was thinking what’s the point. There’s no fight in him when the chips are down.

More importantly he has reminded me how good a caramallow bar is.

smith was right with archer, no good bowling 150km when the game is over.

Facts Australia won both tests by a big margin
8 wickets is a big margin
One thing I don't hear from pommy supporters is

Imagine if we had Cummins and Hazelwood fully fit
In this WTC table ( 2025 -2027 )
Aust played 5 tests 5 wins 0 losses 0 draws
Eng played 7 tests 2 wins 4 losses 1 draw

Ps in the 80's England players were fined in Pakistan for ball tampering
 
I know this team is flawed but they are on a serious run. They have lost 1 series since the last time England toured in 2021. Its by far the best period of sustained success since 07. Only losing 2 series if you stretch it back to 2019.

both him and Warner should not have been allowed back to represent at international level, let alone captain again.
No ball tampering from Starc he is in great form and well done to him. Can't knock Travis Heads innings in Perth that was awesome.
can always knock the fact Smith is a proven cheat.
Border, Steve Waugh, Gilchrist, Taylor all legends of the game and not proven cheats like smith.

Not sure how poms will go in Adelaide, with captain climate change back could get ugly. Would expect Poms to dop Duckett, Archer needs a heart transplant. Root and Stokes only two batsmen worth feeding

It’s a good squad rather than 11 legends. Although the Run Smith, the Unicorn, and Starc will go down as the greatest ever lefty opening bowler in Oz and arguably the planet,
But seeing we have our opening bat and bowl and our unicorn out for the first two ashes test and we still won easily shows our depth.

The Steve Waugh led side and the Ricky Ponting led side both hold the record for most consecutive wins ( 0 losses 0 draws)
That is 16 straight wins each
Was only a 2 or 3 test gap between these 2 runs

Agree, good squad who are on the same page, rather than being littered with superstars like the 2000s teams.

They are so disciplined. They catch well/field well and the bowling is just relentless. They seem to have a good feel of the game and adjust accordingly. Batting has been a worry for years but they always seem to just do enough.
