Cricket Season Thread

I get you now...i wasnt clear on the finals format i thought they were knocked out last week...my mate said to me last week do you wanna go to the final if they win- scg..(im guessing they were playing for a home final last week)
Yeah, that's correct. This is the 3rd time the sixers have played in Perth this season. Smith will decide the winner i reckon.

Cooper Connolly has really flatlined but he is not the only one.
If this series against Pakistan was about working the teams' best combinations out it hasn't really worked.
The batting lineup seems unbalanced and has failed again.Could they give Steve Smith a call?
i do like Moses Henriques commentary on foxtel but. He makes a lot of sense in what he says- perhaps he should be in the team as well.

Well done selectors on assembling potentially the biggest bunch of plodders to ever misrepresent Australia. Sad that Fraser-McDerp missed out as he could have been good for a quickfire 3 off 1 ball to complement the Marshmallow's 1 run off 3 balls. When Stoinplod is your best the optimal result is a washout or to forfeit.

india look certainties but they are $2.50

South Africa at $9 looks ok

The Poms at $9 are some chance as they have had an Australian summer batting in the Ashes like it was a T20 so they should be ready to go lol

Last over in multi-day cricket to continue despite a wicket after latest amendments to Laws

The final over of the day's play in multi-day cricket, including potentially in Tests, will not end if there is a wicket. As per the new edition of the Laws of Cricket, which were announced by the MCC on Tuesday, the over will be completed, and a new batter will need to walk in.

That is one of the significant changes the MCC has carried out in the Laws, which also includes allowing laminated bats in adult recreational cricket, improvising the understanding and definition of hit wicket, and simplifying the definition of overthrows. Overall, the MCC said in a media statement on Tuesday that it has carried out "73 material changes" to the Laws, along with some "linguistic changes".
