Yep plenty of room at the trough.

Nic Maddinson will play his first Test since 2016 and first red-ball game in 18 months after being picked in the Aussie team for the first Test.
Cooper Connolly has missed out.
Beau Webster will play.

Selectors will live and die by decisions like that. If it comes off they will look like geniuses

All 11 players over 30.

That pitch yesterday looked green yesterday must’ve played easier today.

There’s a few scores around this first round.

Well you were playing Tasmania

If you have 10 fingers and 10 toes and can spell the word cricket you are in the Tassy 11

[Buttface]

Davies got 250 today.
His last 14 innings were a 64 and nothing over 21.

Head out for 9 from a faint edge down the legside

Ya gotta hate those ones.

[Yossarian]

Nic Maddindon 0* off 32

[GNR4LIFE]

Travis Head sucks overseas

[Yossarian]

And now he's out. Another dopey selection...

[Yossarian]

What exactly does Matt Renahaw need to be picked? Nic Maddinson lowers his already diabolically low average.

[GNR4LIFE]

Well, that was worth waiting 10 years for.

Do you mean as a opener ....isn't he batting 5

[Yossarian]

Yeah as an opener. Kurtis Patterson should be batting 5

[Yossarian]

Oliver Davies made 250 today. Hopefully he has a good season.

[happy_tiger]

Yeah as an opener. Kurtis Patterson should be batting 5

And Webster should be playing Shield cricket for Tasmania
I can't remember our selectors getting is so wrong when you have so many guaranteed selections

[happy_tiger]

Extras our top scorer halfway into the first session
Good signs sportsfans

[Betterdays22]

All 11 players over 30.

Going all in on the next 12 months not wanting to develop test cricketers on the fly. We will know in 12 months time whether it was the right move
