Travis Head sucks overseas

Great to read your bright, sunny disposition over in the cricket thread too GNR.

Seem to remember Head playing some pretty good tests in India + a run a ball 150 in the WTC at Lords

How else would you describe him averaging 150 at home and 29 overseas?

I would describe that as false. Looks like its about 32. I also had a look and he averages 41 opening the batting overseas.

Webster isn't a Top 6 Test batsmen ....

Lucky for us he will bat 7

[Buttface]

Going all in on the next 12 months not wanting to develop test cricketers on the fly. We will know in 12 months time whether it was the right move

Not developing is always the wrong move.

[Buttface]

Marnus gone on lunch to ruin the comeback.

If they win an overseas ashes and india tour I will forgive them

If they do that they get a parade.

Yeah I let that one go.
Counting is not a strong suit north of the border. 😎

It would be good to see him go out off the back of a few scores and wins. But who’s the next Run-Smith?

We need to find a leg-spinner/ batsmen who can turn it all round and become a batting superstar
I really don't know
How is everyone's Marnus Bingo Card going

I'd prefer Mitch Marsh at 6 and Carey at 7

And I'm not a Mitch Marsh fan

Young Noah Mcfadyen just hit 2x 6’s in a row to ton up on debut for SA, he has a few wickets to his name in some Academy games. Used to be a toad. 🐸
There’s a leg break googly bowler for NSW just got 5 wickets, so hopefully some young men stand up and say pick me this season. Sam Konstas score 60 last outing.

How could the bowlers not be sick of these useless batsmen?

[happy_tiger]

How could the bowlers not be sick of these useless batsmen?

Why our bowlers are constantly injured and needing enforced breaks
Carrying our batsmen every 2nd Test

[Yossarian]

Another lousy batting effort. Been forever since we had a batsman who produced regular runs. Smith included.

[tiger_one]

Well, we won the toss.
Pity about the 3 sessions that followed.
What's happened to our batting technique?

Bad light has stranded Matt Renshaw four runs shy of his first Test half-century in more than 3,500 days on day one of the opening Test between Australia and South Africa in Durban.

Play was stopped after just 65 overs were bowled on day one, with Renshaw unbeaten on 46 off 115 alongside captain Pat Cummins (33*).
