Got to be frustrating for Boland. Takes 5 wickets, bats for 166 balls work his arse off, has to watch several batsmen get out to dopey attacking shots. And now with the lights coming on and 36 behind, Starc plays a stupid hoik and gets bowled. Boland’s heroics could have earnt a draw if others showed his diligence and determination. Instead we’re going to lose by an innings. Zero fight some of these guys. World class when it’s rolling their way but no grit under pressure.

A poor loss by an innings+ and only a short turnaround to the deciding test.It is probably too late for the selectors to rectify their mistakes for this tour but surely a massive kick in the rear is coming both to the players and selectors with hopefully changes to BOTH.
This is nowhere near good enough.
