Cricket Season

What is it going to take for an Australian to score a test hundred this summer? 13 50's so far (including Hussey with 19 to go) and still no hundreds. Whereas WI have 2 hundreds from 5 scores 50+.

But then again, I'd much rather the series win…

WI have 3 hundreds, Barath, Gayle, Bravo.

Hussey will get a 100 this knock.

Yeah, you're right about the WI centuries. Make those numbers 3 100's from 7 scores 50+.

But then you weren't right about Hussey. Now North and Haddin have made their 50's, bringing Australia up to 15 50's. This is getting ridiculous…

And now North is gone

Maybe we should always do this, we outscored England I think 7 centuries to 2 in the Ashes and lost, now we're getting beaten in the centuries and we're winning lol.

Now Haddin for 88

Johnson is on track for a 50 too.

In another thread before the first test the question was asked who would be the first aussie to score a century this summer.I think it is showing u some major concentration issues against a weak side.

Maiden 5 for from Dougie. Been treated very harshly by the selectors, yet has made every post a winner. The question has to be asked, exactly why in the hell wasn't he in the side a year ago?

Best bowler by far…...lets see those Muppets drop him now......but I bet they do...10 for the Match would make it very hard.......

Hauritz has also improved as a test bowler...credit there...

It'll be an interesting side come Boxing Day, Siddle will probably be fit, not sure about Hilfenhaus but I think Siddle could be the one to drop out when Hilfenhaus comes back. If its swinging, he'll swing it, if its not then he can bowl cutters, so Hilfy would be my pick with Siddle dropping out.

CRAP…....

Micheal Clarke....love watchin him bat.......Bravo did him over.......

3 down the search for quick runs has dried up....cmon Ricky I want a result.......

The Windies are working very hard and getting back into this match. Ponting I think needs to come in and do what he can. It will be hard but has to be done.

that ball is really starting to spin off the pitch, this game has been great to watch i think we will have a result tomurrow the wayy those cracks are opening.

Im a bit worried about today, hopefully the cracks open up more with the hot weather.

If we had Warney I'd back us to defend this, no Warney and the West Indies could get close, even though its breaking up, I dont think this is an 8/130 odd pitch.

Bollinger has thus far been a superstar for Australia in one day cricket and if given the chance he has damn well earnt, he will be one in test cricket as well.

do u think gayle knows who he is now hehehe

Gayle said Bollinger was the pick of the Aussie bowlers. Hopefully he holds his spot now, in my opinion he is better than Johnson and Siddle, probably on par with Hilfy.

He craps over Hilfenhaus.

Hilfenhaus doesn't have Bollingers pace, control or overall impact.

Hilfenhaus showed in SA and ENG, in conditions tailor made for him, that he could only do a reasonable job, and in the case of SA, a poor job.

yep, and after the series said Bollinger was the best Aussie bowler.

Looks like Punter will play.

I hope he is fully fit (And Siddle to if they play him) because we dont want a repeat of last boxing where Symonds and Lee could hardly run.
