Surely was a dead ball, can only think that the umpire's logic was that because the decision was overturned then the ball was in fact live, thus the run out would stand. Unfortunately controversial end to an otherwise decent game from our bunch.

Exactly VT , it would be like the umpire calling over and then the batsmen getting run out as he went to talk to his partner

Just watching the preview to the game, you get the sense that the rivalry even surpases that of SOO.

The Inidian section of the crowd went bizerk when they won the toss, can only imagine the atmosphere during the actual game.

Massive pressure on the 22 players out there today in 39 degree heat.
