If you look at the financials from the the joint venture clubs it clearly says Wests are in a position to assume control and maybe that is where the money to get rid of sheens will come

A bit paranoid there MacDougall - i'm an old maggie through and through but it would it would be financial suicide to wipe out the Tigers part of Wests - the brand is established and is huge - Wests group currently put up the majority of money - Wests Ashfield has made its decisions so far looking at whats best for WT and Cambelltown dosen't have the money or the power to change this.

Back to my post, it was a rumour. However IF true regarding Wests Group taking a controlling interest, I can't see how anything would change. There will be no Wests Magpies etc. Wests Tigers are here forever. Great brand, great fan base, great club.
