Cronk

Anyone else think he looks pretty average at SoO level?

Not at all, I thought his kicking game was outstanding and he also made a linebreak early in the match when he ran it. Thurston was very quiet, he made a couple of errors early in both halves and he seemed to go missing after that.

This germ was involved in one of, if not the countrys biggest sporting rort

He needs time to work on his combination with Thurston, but they need to settle on who plays left & right for a few games. (Hags has it all wrong this series in the way he is using the 6 & 7)

His energy and enthusiasm might be his un-doing on this stage…

i think the melbourne players that were involved in the rort have gotten off so easy. i cant understand why their images arent more tarnished. sometimes the rugby league world can be a bit too forgiving. i for one have no time for cheats.

as for cronk, as watto said his combination with thurston is still a work in progress. even at 5/8, thurston is still a very dominating player, and cronk plays quite differently to the man he's replaced in the halves. like anyone, he will settle into his role over time.

my big question mark of origin ability is dave taylor. as a NSW fan, im not scared of him in origin at all. he doesnt have any impact, and he seems to be lost/doesnt know what his role is.
