Yes, beau did say they were looking forward to playing at a sold out Leichhardt oval…along with his hope of Benji bringing his A grade game, he was wrong on both counts.

However, it did rain at about 7.20pm for about 20 minutes, so maybe those 6000 - 8000 just turned around and went home :smiley: :smiley:

The only reason I went was to farewell the big Gaz, and it was sad to see that there was no lap of honour (bit hard to do when there is only about 2000 people left, and virtually no one left on the hill side)

It was a big big wake up call to the Wests Tigers management and players, that capitulation the week before was a disgrace and the final straw in my humble opinion :brick: :brick: :brick: :brick:
