Crystal ball time?

I'd Love to know where you people are getting your confidence from?

All of you people predicting finishes of 8th, 9th, 10th, etc…

Who on earth do you think we are going to beat home???????

**Almost every team in the mid and bottom teirs have improved their squads significantly except us.\
\
There is not a single thing that indicates to me there will be any differece from last years results.**

Our young talents will continue to improve and mature. but unless you are completely one eyed you will see almost every team has that sort of young talent coming through.

the only difference I see may be, that brooks snags us an extra win or two during the year, but he will be heavily targeted and **I would be surprised if he goes more than a few games without injury given our piss poor forward packs ability to protect him.**

Get ready for a long year of more of the same penalties, missed tackles and dropped balls.

**I'd honestly be very surprised if we improved much on last year and think we are 2-3 years way from any sort of significant improvement.**

Parra vs tigers for the spoon.

A bad run on injuries and a youthful squad are my predicted culprits and not poor coaching.

I really hope im wrong.

Biest improver. ? Dragons
Winners souths

If we have luck with injuries we'll be around the fringe of the eight. Not looking great so far though.

My thoughts too. Not many outside of the club genuinely rate our squad. It's young but talented and if players can keep fit, this side will make an impact of some sort.

The question you have to ask, is what teams will finish behind us??????and really I don't see to many teams that at least on paper look weaker than us. So to expect a top eight finish to me is just unrealistic

Position - Last, I honestly can't see anything else but the spoon. Piss weak defence up the middle, it will be years before the team improves and Potter will be gone before round 12.

Knocking on the door of the finals in a log jamb of others, but getting in????

Sauce to play every game 😱pen_mouth: , :wtf , nah, don't be stupid. Blair

Tedesco will be the man. Safe, puts his body on the line, and seems to have got a yard or two of pace back

Chooks and Bunnies GF

Ladder finish: 8th

Which player will play every game: Blair

Our player of the year: Teddy

Who will win comp outside of us: Nth Qld

IMO if we can get some early wins and our young guys build in confidence we can scrape in the 8.
Watching the nines my biggest concern is our D… We just seemed to be arm grabbing all the time..

I am inclined to agree with this post. There will be a lot of high expectations put on the youngsters, but unless our DEFENCE improves 100% we have little chance.
But still no one can predict what will happen  depends a lot on injuries, not only to our team but others as well. So lets get off to a good start :sign:

Its a tough season to predict. But it comes down to three things.

**1\. Injury luck.. (esp Woods and Galloway.)\
\
2\. Senior players have to raise their form compared to last year.\
\
3\. Younger players need to make the most of their chances**

If all three happen at the same time we could really impress.

If all 3 of those things happen we will atleast be in the top 12.

Who can tell at this stage? The crystal ball gazers were definitely wrong in 2005\. 2011/2012 did not come up to predictions either.

If the injury gods give us a break this year I can see an improvement on last years finish.
Last year we baby sat Benji. Potter had little time to prepare. Injuries hit us hard. We blooded youngsters. We were stuck with a lot of Tim Sheens deadwood. Sheens saga. Money troubles and boardroom fighting. We were a rabble. Taking all this into account, I can't agree with you on finishing the same as 2013\. I'm predicting 11-13 finish. What's yours 15th, I can definitely see us finishing better.

Agree with that

4\. Refs to give us a break

Without being overly negative I urge realism.

I truly believe our tigers are clawing our way back up the food chain. Potter can be a good coach for us If his mantra of Defense built on discipline can be implemented.

I am sick of the style of play we are known for and would much rather be more Melbourne Storm like any day.

Forgive me but I think the team will really grow with Benji gone.

:sign: We have never had a decent quota of forwards in our history and forwards win the tight games. We now have those forwards and together with some of the best backs in the business I predict we will be in the eight somewhere.

"Best backs in the business"?

Seriously? I must have been in a deep sleep. Which ones play SOO and for Australia?

None have yet played SOO or for Australia but a few have great chances for future representation. Amongst them, Tedesco, Brooks and Nofoloama.

I agree that we have some talented youngsters but to say they are the best in the business just beggars belief.
