Current lower graders

Is it just me or are there no lower graders at the club that scream superstar like there has been in past seasons? Some guys that look like good solid ball players but there's no specials coming through this year aside from JJ Felise imo who plays in our strongest position…

The name you are looking for is Marion Seve.Complete natural but injuries and suspension have delayed him.

I was going to agree Jerry I think outside backs are where our stars coming through the 20s are at the moment. Seve, Helata and I must say I like the look of Khawin I believe his name is he has all the natural skills for a winger. But in reality even the best Under 20s sides see only a couple of FG stars. Also the Balmain SBBall team are again dominating that age group so plenty of petential their

Plenty of talent on the rise for mine as the structure to bring them through is in place. Really impressed with the crispness of Liddle's work at dummy half.

Bulldogs SG ball just beat them yesterday. Dominating is not the word I would use, they're a strong team but certainly no stars in it

NYC tends to go in 2 year cycles at most Clubs, but we tend to have been lucky to date with this year being an exception.

Both Lioleveve & Funaki are also eligible for NYC, and they would give both Martin & Levido slot more room if playing.

I would say that there is a good chance Watson Heleta could debut in first grade this season. He is a solidly built centre with speed much the same as Warriors' Konrad Hurrel. He could also be the answer to our current five eight problem.

8/9 is pretty close to dominating. One loss should detract from what they achieved before that.

Yeah agree 8/9 with a 200+ point differential - every junior club can have an off day because they are kids but must be the occasional good player for that to happen and the Balmain Harold Matts have won 8 from 8 with 150+ differential so must be a little talent coming through

No matter what the raps, i'll always take this kids ability with a grain of salt till they hit first grade. I just don't understand people losing their minds when the step up to first grade is so big. So many fall by the wayside once they hit first grade. Its why i'm not convinced that Moses will be a champion. He hasn't really followed on from what he showed last yr. Siro is starting to show some potential. Whether he'll be the player people claim, who knows? But based on what i saw from last yr, the way he's gone so far this yr is enough for me to say that he's improving.

For me…if a kid is really, really FAR better than everyone else in the lowers i expect them to kick on.

Moses,Siro and Brooks all slayed it in the juniors, they looked like men against boys.

This is why i expect them to kick on.

On our current crop there are a few that look very good,Cherrington most notably, but I like the centre Cerruto, big fast and has a pass too.

X2 for Cerruto. Tedesco mk2 in appearance and he has very good speed, footwork and power.

Its called talent identificiation and it is the last frontier in a salaray cap evened game.

The good clubs have the best, take Peter Osullivan at the Roosters. They havent taken a backward step since he came on board.

Cyril Connor was another for the Broncos when they were at the top of the table year after year.

Te Maire Martin and Obed Karwhin look very very likely to be NRL players.
