Too many on this forum knocking back Curtis Scott for his mistake yet they forget that they made the same mistakes in their earlier life.

We bag the Club Recruitment people for signing BJ etc etc. But some on here are so desperate for any signing., any body even people with bad social form, like TPJ and Scott will do. Recruiting these types kills the brand when they screw up (which is a certainty with these two) Sponsors run and new ones are very difficult to get.

Did Inglis kill South’s brand when he screwed up multiple times, (IMO) much worse than anything Scott has done?

I don’t think Tigers are just “making do” with this sort of player. They are being opportunistic. Because what’s the alternative? With proper safeguards it’s being positive because we have no current first grade level centre. Perhaps to tie us over until the development players start happening. Or even when the right marquee player comes along.

Now people will argue that Scott isn’t in the same league as Inglis as a player (which is obvious) but that is irrelevant.

We would be crazy not to have a lash at Scott. Our current centres are barely reserve grade standard and our actual reserve-grade outside backs are ordinary also. There really isn't anything to lose in this one.
