Yeah he's only little compared to most current fullbacks.

Hopefully fills out a bit and reaches the same size as Pap. That's whom he's most similar to

Storm have Pap at 80 kg, with Laurie listed at 83kg so I would say he's already there.

Tedesco was a twig aswell when he first started

It'll be all about if he can handle that hit where you are welcomed into first grade and how he bounces back.

Too many 'glass half empty' posts here! Exhibit A: until we finally signed Laurie for this year, no one was concerned by anything else but signing him, but now when he finally signed - too many look for reasons why was that a bad outcome?

He'd be bigger than Slater and Hodgo ...if he is that good we are in very safe hands

My brother is a big Panthers fan, disappointing I know, I tried, but he’s confident the Tigers will get great service from Laurie. He follows the juniors quite closely and knows the game.

Does he know the game better than you? ;p

I have about 11 years on him due to birth but we have robust discussions haha

I coached his junior sides too so he’s brainwashed lol

Momo a good steady safe player, but cant wait for more speed and excitement in our team, last game i watched at leichardt A J Brimson burned us and i want someone in our team that can produce that lethal speed

With Laurie, JTJ and Brooksy I expect to be up out of my seat a bit and giving the remote a fair durability test this year.

M'Bye and Liddle when injury free are quick as well and hopefully Fitzgibbon gets on the field at some point. we could go from being the absolute slowest team in the comp to one of the the quickest in the space of an offseason.

I hope we get to use the Ferrari’s mate (and they’re not actually Lancers). They just need time and space.

Problem is they are stuck in school zones between 2.30 and 4.30 pm

The fact he got a debut in that nearly all conquering Panthers team last year is ‘something’. But yes, agree we must wait and see.

Thats true - in fact the whole side really hasn't done much to speak of. I guess it was either stick with what we have done for 10 years and hope that by some miracle it suddenly works. Or completely overhaul the roster with young guns and risky past stars - add some speed and enthusiasm and hope by some miracle that suddenly works. It may not but is going to be fun to see if it does.
