Over the last few months a number of quality centres came onto the market with the possible exception of Jennings (assuming he does sign with Parra) the remaining players all ended up at top 8 clubs with Copley to the Roosters, Roberts to Broncos, Hoppa to Bulldogs, Lafai to St George, Walker to Manly. Obviously the salary cap is working well for some clubs with these clubs having the ability to maintain strong player rosters while the **Tigers, Gold Coast, Knights** etc struggle to attract quality players.
Like any system, the salary cap is being manipulated/better managed by the more affluent clubs resulting in the talented players always being lured by these clubs in favour of clubs like the Tigers (even when we don't have salary cap issues - of course there are several recent exceptions be it Ellis or Blair but the Tigers had a stronger playing roster then as well).
